"Audit-Ready Traceability in One Connected System"
5/5
What do you like best about Matrix Req?

Matrix Req has significantly improved our medical device development process by providing end-to-end traceability across requirements, risks, testing, bugs, and design controls in one connected system. Its flexible configuration allowed us to fit the platform into our existing SOPs, while automated document generation eliminated much of the manual Word and Excel work. Reliable performance, strong customer support, intelligent impact analysis, and audit-ready reporting have reduced preparation time, minimized documentation errors, and delivered clear value for our regulated development environment. What do you dislike about Matrix Req?

The main drawbacks of Matrix Req are its steep learning curve, less polished interface, and complex template editing. New users require proper onboarding, while customizing Word reports often requires technical knowledge. Test execution can also feel dated and involve too many steps, and large projects may experience slower traceability views and document generation. Overall, these issues are manageable but could be improved through a more intuitive UI, visual template editor, and better performance for large projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
