What do you like best about MarketSight?

What do you dislike about MarketSight?

It's got a somewhat high learning curve. It takes a while to train employees on it and even still it takes a lot of time to clean data and get it ready in order to use Marketsight. I also dislike the fact that you can't switch columns and rows in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MarketSight?

MarketSight can handle very large survey datasets, and in moments, you'll be creating crosstabs and charts to help make sense of it all. Simply add in your variables, and MarketSight will be giving you some robust insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarketSight?

MarketSight can be extremely slow. I'm not sure if it's my company not allocating enough server space or what, but uploading datasets or even accessing different pages takes a long time. Additionally, MarketSight still seems like an untapped resource as far as different features go and the interface doesn't lend itself to exploring those features. It studies very well the processes of automation and analysis of events, data, marketing or campaigns. It has a great scope in many areas of market projections. It is a bit difficult to configure, the software complies with appropriate parameters of marketing management. I have managed to have a wonderful way of doing marketing in a simple way. We began by using it as a campaign management tool on known platforms, then we discovered that the program gives excellent reports of data and events previously followed or monitored, later and to this day it is used more widely to create a plan for customer acquisition. "Complicated user interface to use but keep at it to get a nice result"

What do you like best about MarketSight?

Most helpful: The ability to drop in SPSS files and get a decent amount of the information ready to go is helpful.

Upside/good feature: The final result of the exported crosstabs is good looking and doesn't take too much to get it to a visual that can be shared with clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarketSight?

Most difficult: Appending data (coded open ended questions in most cases) can be difficult. The user interface is challenging when building crosstabs. The windows are so small that it can be such a challenge to even read the fully text of a questions (frustrating with ratings questions which start out with answer options that start with the same verbiage many times).

Downside: Recently I tried to copy over some user defined variables and a crosstab into another data set and it came out messed up. I had to define/build over again.

Not as helpful as it should be: I also recently worked with a rep who was unable to resolve or give explanation to a problem I had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MarketSight solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use large datasets among a small staff. Getting these datasets under control as quickly as possible is needed to inform our reporting. Internally we can fairly quickly construct simple crosstabs for internal use, but also take more time and care to create a deliverable for client use. "Streamlined survey cutting and statistical analysis"

What do you like best about MarketSight?

For survey cutting, you have these multiple choice questions in a format which is incomprehensible by excel power pivots and all but market sight is on point to map these questions without any manual effort required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MarketSight?

The creation of new variables is a bit of a hassle on marketsight. Also the product is server based so awfully slow at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Majorly survey cutting problems, data insight generation and some data cleaning purposes too.

Set up training's from the team before purchasing, so you can ask all the questions you need to see if it is useful for you. I would also have one person in the company familiarize themselves with the product to hold internal training's that can be longer and more specified to individual needs. What problems is MarketSight solving and how is that benefiting you?

MarketSight has allowed me to become more efficient with my job, especially when it comes to prepping for a report. I am able to create a tab plan and have all my tabs ready to go before our data is even cleaned and weighted. This allows us to efficiently manage our time and put together reports with strict deadlines easily - as we simply have to click export and check over our variables and weights.
