"Patch Manager Plus Automates Patching Across Mixed OS and Apps from One Console"
5/5
What do you like best about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

The thing I like the best about Patch Manager Plus is the amount of patching it automates in a mixed environment. Manage Windows, macOS, Linux & 3rd party apps (Chrome, Adobe, Java etc) from a single console. Clean and easy to navigate dashboard shows missing patches and vulnerabilities by severity (UI/UX). The test-and-approve workflow gives me the ability to validate patches on a pilot group before rolling them out to the entire organization, and scheduled deployment policies keep routine patching going with almost no manual effort. It integrates well with the rest of the ManageEngine suite and Active Directory, and it handles remote Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

Some time to learn to deploy the first agents, and to configure the policies. Large scans and patch syncs can cause server resource usage to spike and can slow performance. “Endpoint counts scale quickly, and add-ons increase the total price. Response times from support vary. Some complex issues may need to be escalated. The onboarding documentation could use more real-world examples. The AI and automation is rudimentary and doesn’t offer much in terms of predictive risk analysis or smart patch scheduling. I would like to see better guidance on prioritization.
