"MAMP Is the Way to Go for Testing and Development"

What do you like best about MAMP?

I like that this software allows me to build and develop websites, including WordPress, PHP, and local HTML projects, where I can test them and see what they would look like and how they would behave before I launch them online. The software also makes it easy to run extended operations that usually with time out on the server without this restriction when doing it on my local machine. What do you dislike about MAMP?

I don't particularly appreciate that there is a learning curve involved with using this software. It's not a steep learning curve, but it does require some set up and remembering preferences. An example of this would be if I choose a specific folder to host the website files; it's not the same folder as the one hosting database files. Again, this isn't that big of a headache, but if I had to say that there was something I disliked, this would be it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MAMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

MAMP allows me to test websites and develop projects in a time-saving manner. This software enables me to fully develop high-functioning projects that I can run in real-time, with actual results, as if they were live online. As a result, MAMP is saving me not only time but it's making project management a lot more efficient, and I'm able to deliver better satisfaction to my clients.
