## Mailjet Reviews
  ### 1. Support isn't great, record keeping is not robust

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kasio M. | Director of Email Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

Mailjet was easy to set up and easy to implement. No one had a hard time understanding how it worked. We did use it for 2 years.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

Mailjet would often "pre-block" emails without warning or explanation. They did not keep information for long enough to track why someone was removed from our databases. Their support often took a week to answer questions and most of the time the answer they gave was unhelpful.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When our last email marketing service came to an end, we were in a rush to move. During the sales process Mailjet was very attentive and helpful with onboarding. I did ask a question of the salesperson during the interview originally. She told me that the capability I asked for was possible. Once we were on the platform I was told that it was not possible. The salesperson and the people setting up the platform were completely different so there was no accountability for telling me that a feature existed when it did not.

  ### 2. Not recommended for serious business email operations

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

I like that they charge based on the number of emails sent, rather than on the size of my subscriber list.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

Extremely frustrating compliance process and sending limits for legitimate business use

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We started using Mailjet for legitimate customer satisfaction surveys sent to active clients of our company. We are not using purchased lists, scraped contacts, or unsolicited third-party marketing campaigns.

Despite providing multiple explanations about our business model, customer relationship, data collection process, legal basis, and campaign metrics, Mailjet kept applying restrictive sending limits and repeatedly asked for increasingly specific documentation, including individual proof of consent for specific contacts.

Our campaigns had 0% spam complaints and a very low unsubscribe rate, which clearly shows that recipients were not treating our emails as abusive or unsolicited. The main issue was bounce rate, which can naturally happen when working with a large customer database where some customers manually provide emails, occasionally with typos or outdated addresses.

Instead of helping us solve the deliverability issue in a practical way, the process became exhausting and bureaucratic. Their support responses felt like a never-ending compliance loop, with repeated requests that are not always realistic for large companies with hundreds of thousands of active customers.

If you are a company planning to use Mailjet for high-volume customer communications, especially if your contacts come from an existing contractual customer relationship rather than a simple newsletter checkbox, be very careful. You may face account restrictions, sending limits, long review processes, and repeated requests for documentation before being able to use the platform normally.

In our experience, Mailjet was not a good fit for enterprise-level customer communication where contacts are collected through real business processes, contracts, customer service interactions, and onboarding workflows.

I would strongly recommend evaluating other providers before committing operationally to Mailjet.

  ### 3. Mailjet: Unifying Email with Ease and Precision

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramanpreet S. | Software Developer Tech Marbles , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

I love Mailjet's real-time collaboration feature within the email builder. It allows our marketing and design teams to work together on the same template simultaneously, similar to working in Google Docs, which eliminates the need for constant back-and-forth revisions. I also appreciate the reliable SMTP relay and marketing tools that are integrated into a single platform, providing incredible value as we don't have to switch between different services for managing our outbound emails. Moreover, Mailjet's clean, intuitive dashboard and its detailed sub-account structure help in organizing multiple client projects or brands. Their real-time analytics and tracking are top-notch for monitoring open and bounce rates instantly, and are incredibly beneficial right after launching a marketing campaign. Plus, the platform's detailed bounce and block tracking allows us to quickly clean up inactive email addresses, helping maintain a pristine sender reputation.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

While Mailjet is excellent for our day-to-day needs, its advanced marketing automation could be expanded. Setting up complex, highly conditional behavioral workflows can sometimes feel a bit restrictive, and it would be great to see more flexibility there. Additionally, when we are designing exceptionally large email layouts with heavy imagery, the drag-and-drop builder interface can occasionally experience lag. Expanding their customer support availability for lower-tier plans and offering a wider variety of modern, pre-built template designs out of the box would greatly enhance the overall experience.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mailjet consolidates our email systems, managing transactional and marketing campaigns from one platform. It solves deliverability issues with a reliable SMTP relay and enhances collaboration, saving time by reducing code transfer between teams.

  ### 4. Effortless Setup, Perfect for Small Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveenkumar P. | Solution Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

I like Mailjet because of its simple setup process. It's straightforward when setting up initially—you just go on with the ticket and finish your DNS records. This simplicity is great, especially with the option for multiple sender confirmations, which makes my life easier. I also find it beneficial that I can target a very specific audience with emails. The setup is quite easy, taking no more than two or three minutes if you know how to set it up. Additionally, I don't need to reach out to my team to set up my mail account, which adds to the simplicity.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

Nothing specific as i had great experience with mailjet

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mailjet simplifies email setup with quick DNS configuration and multiple sender confirmations, targeting specific audiences effectively. I can manage my own email without team assistance, streamlining my tasks.

  ### 5. Easy API Setup, Reliable Uptime, and Helpful Maintenance Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

Mailjet was really easy to install and set up with our API. I also appreciate how consistently good the uptime has been, and that I receive updates whenever there’s scheduled maintenance or anything similar.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

Mailjet includes the “unsubscribe from mailing list” option by default in all emails. I actually like this and I want to give my users that choice, but when I’m sending an OTP code, it shouldn’t be possible to unsubscribe, and I can’t find any way to turn it off.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a reliable service that we depend on, since authentication on our platform requires a dependable email service provider. Deliverability has also been consistently good, which is important for our use case.

  ### 6. Streamlines Email Management with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph A. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

I like Mailjet's built-in GDPR compliance because it gives me peace of mind. I also appreciate the AI-powered real-time collaboration, which feels a bit like using Google Docs for email. The unified volume-based pricing is good too, making it more cost-effective for scaling. Additionally, the drag-and-drop feature is nice and easy to use. I find Mailjet valuable for solving the friction between marketing and development teams while ensuring high email deliverability. The developer-friendly environment is another aspect I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

I think more complicated triggers could be made. Not a lot of customization, library kinda small, that sort of thing.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves friction between marketing and development teams and ensures high email deliverability. It offers a unified customer journey, making scaling cost-effective and is developer-friendly.

  ### 7. Extremely Easy to Use with Unlimited Contacts - the right mail solution form me

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

It's extremely easy to use, got me started in no time and allows to store unlimited contacts

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

It does not allow merging of contact lists. That sometimes becomes a problem if you have too many contact lists and want to combine many lists together

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My outreach mails to my subscribers are taken care of by MailJet. That helps me reach out to them and also inform them about my new products and services via my monthly newsletters

  ### 8. 🚨 Bad experience – credits lost and no refund

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alexis v. | Dirigeant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

The sending of technical campaigns works well as long as everything stays "within their limits."

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

I bought a pack of 500,000 emails (over 500 €). After 320,000 sends, my account was blocked overnight, without prior warning, and I had about 180,000 unused credits left. Customer service keeps repeating that it is "non-compliant" and refuses any refund or commercial gesture. Even an official list (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with contacts who had requested to be on it) was not accepted.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Envoyer beaucoup de courriels

  ### 9. Easy handling with numerous models

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Mailjet?**

The handling is easy, which makes the use pleasant from the start. I also appreciate the ability to export in HTML, as well as the feature that allows creating landing pages.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

The user experience is sometimes limited, which complicates the search for certain features.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a good solution for managing our internal and external emailings. The tool is simple to use, which really makes our daily work easier.

  ### 10. Economical and flawless in what is does

Cost effective, high availability and support. The APIs are quite extensive. This makes the implementation and automation much easier. As a frequent user, the UI is intuitive making the usage easy.

**What do you dislike about Mailjet?**

Filtering options in the Stats page are limited. Would be great to have integartion with Lokalise like translation tool or Contentful like CMS.

**What problems is Mailjet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Mailjet to send about a million transactional emails per month. The SMTP server and the templating is flawless
