"Best fit for our team's private SMTP mailbox setup"

What do you like best about maildoso?

I am the Partner and CTO at Empiric Infotech LLP, and our team started using Maildoso in September 2026 while setting up a small email pilot. After comparing providers for our requirements, it was the best fit for our private SMTP mailbox setup. We now have 12 Maildoso mailboxes across six separate domains. We have provisioned the mailboxes, checked the domains' mail records, retrieved the mailbox connection details, and connected two mailboxes to Reply.io for our initial integration checks. Having the domains, DNS setup and mailboxes managed in one place makes this easier to organize. My positive rating is based on this initial setup experience. We have not yet measured campaign performance or long-term inbox placement.

What do you dislike about maildoso?

The initial setup could explain small mailbox add-ons and third-party connection settings more clearly. When we wanted to grow from 10 to 12 mailboxes, the add-on options were not obvious to us, although we later added the two mailboxes. Our Reply.io integration also needed careful checking of the SMTP port and SSL settings; port 465 with SSL worked for the two mailboxes we tested. I would appreciate a clearer guide for that exact setup and a billing view that separates monthly mailbox charges from annual domain renewals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is maildoso solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed email infrastructure for a planned pilot that would remain separate from the domains and mailboxes used for our normal business communication. Maildoso gives us one place to provision and manage the six domains and 12 private SMTP mailboxes, then connect the mailboxes to our sending tool, Reply.io. The practical benefit so far is completing that infrastructure setup and verifying the first two connections without using our main business mailbox for the pilot. We are still in the setup stage, so I cannot yet report reply rates, revenue impact, time savings or long-term deliverability results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
