The single-sourcing capabilities of MadCap Flare are invaluable. I love the idea that I can write repetitive content once and be able to use it in multiple places and multiple outputs. When I need to revise it, I have just one place to go and the change propagates automatically throughout all uses. It's a tremendous time-saver and makes content maintenance so much more efficient than traditional tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bug fixes seem to take an awfully long time to get in. New features/functionality are nice. But it seems like bug fixes get pushed to the back burner. Also, for users who are not familiar with topic-based authoring, the learning curve seems to be steeper than it used to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
