I often use remote execution both for maintenance and to trigger actions following events. For example, in monitoring public kiosks (uptime) or critical services, I can immediately intervene with a corrective action while waiting for human verification.
The entire hardware and software inventory section is also very useful for staying compliant during various client audits. It helps me track device movements and identify any unauthorized software installations.
Currently, there are still few integrations, but I trust that in the coming months native integrations with other platforms, such as Zoho Desk and Eset Protect, will be added.
The support received is excellent: we feel supported and listened to by the GoTo team.
I also find the AI transcription of remote sessions very convenient, as it allows us to have a quick summary of the activities carried out and to review the procedures, then saving them in the knowledge base.
The graphical interface is user-friendly, there are differences in usage and performance between the web version and the desktop version. Some difficulties in mobile apps with MFA authentication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes some functions time out without responding to inputs, especially in activities like managing inventories with very large records or generating reports with thousands of values. I have also noticed significant differences during remote execution.
Regarding remote connection, the web version is difficult to use with multiple sessions, and on computers with less than 16 GB of RAM, the performance is unsatisfactory: it requires a lot of hardware resources. We have also encountered problems with copy-paste and drag-and-drop.
Finally, the end user cannot transfer files. In a specific case, for example, an operator needs to connect to a roadside advertising panel to change the poster, but cannot do so independently because file transfer is not allowed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
