To provide better support for one of our clients, we wanted to migrate their OXID webshop to WooCommerce. This involved hundreds of products, thousands of customers, and their orders. While we are knowledgeable about databases and programming, it quickly became clear that we would prefer to rely on a partner whose core business is "Shop-to-Shop Migration." After some research and a brief video call with Joy from LitExtension, it was clear that we would entrust this task to LitExtension. From the initial discussions and onboarding to the go-live of WooCommerce, everything was handled very professionally. We had a fair amount of time for the migration and were able to start with a pre-migration, which allowed us to set up the WooCommerce shop with real data. During the active phase, we had almost daily contact with Tracee, our personal project manager. Throughout the process, there were no major issues. Minor issues were resolved within hours after consultation. Tracee's response time was always very quick, and the communication was clear and pleasant. We are now live with the new shop, and everything is running as expected. They gave me directions on what was needed to go back to our custom shopping cart developers to request some missing data. I never would have known what to ask for.The work was completed quickly in only two days and I know it would have taken me weeks to manually import the data. They were even able to use our custom shopping cart product export which was a mess. But they got it done! **What do you dislike about LitExtension?** There was a little bit of a time zone difference. It was a little awkward at first. But once I got them what they needed in the afternoon, by the morning it was done. **What problems is LitExtension solving and how is that benefiting you?** I would have manually had to enter data for 900+ products. There is no way I would have been able to unravel our complicated database export (in CSV format) and get it into Bigcommerce. They did it quickly and accurately for all our products. ### 3. Their demo migration also ensures that you can test the product completely free of charge to make sure everything works properly. In addition to this they had a very good response time from the support chat which made the setup and migration very easy for us. For us a key point was that in one migration you can choose, what data you want to migrate and after the initial migration you can also update the data without additional cost. This makes it perfect in case you are implementing a new platform and want to migrate before and after launch. Before finding LitExtension I was dealing with products that weren't compatible with Adobe Commerce Cloud, but with the help from the support we got the setup done in 15 minutes. I had to deal with a few additional things with the support and especially their technical consultant Circle Nguyen looked through the final process. **What do you dislike about LitExtension?** There's not much to dislike as the product works. In our case, we went from BigCommerce to WooCommerce and most of the datasets were moved properly. The setup required was relatively minimal and didn't require technical expertise. The customer service was helpful when issues did arise and was able to correct them. **What do you dislike about LitExtension?** There were a few datasets that didn't transition over properly. Not sure if this is due to the demo they offer messing up the data or just a big in their software. Customer service was able to correct the issue. The price shown on their website isn't exactly what you'll pay. When you're ready to do the full transition, you'll pretty much need to select most or all of the add-on features they offer. So your price goes up by about 50% with the add-ons offered. **What problems is LitExtension solving and how is that benefiting you?** LitExtension was able to automate the transition between ecommerce platforms, saving us quite a bit of manual labor.
