It delivers excellent performance and offers simpler maintenance since there’s no need to manage multiple systems. The support is great, the admin interface is user-friendly, and overall, it has proven to be reliable. **What do you dislike about LiteSpeed Web Server?** We Had to pay for it, but that's life ;-) **What problems is LiteSpeed Web Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simplicity for running Magento compared to nginx + Apache + varnish. I click on a page and it loads instantly. Not like... a second of waiting and it pops up, it loads INSTANTLY. I don't even understand how it's possible, considering how slow my site was before. Additionally, all of the support guys are very cool, and very patient. They often go above and beyond the normal scope of support in order to help me with whatever I'm working on. My site is complex... but they have managed to help me simplify it. I'm actually downsizing my server after getting this set up. I don't use a fraction of the server resources that I did before. This is saving me like $100/month on my Amazon EC2 instance. I'm really glad that I found Litespeed. **What do you dislike about LiteSpeed Web Server?** I honestly have no complaints. If I HAD to think of something to complain about, it's that I can't manage everything through Plesk. I have my plesk panel, and I have a separate Litespeed panel. It's really not a big deal at all, but apparently this is a required field and I have to enter something. **What problems is LiteSpeed Web Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** My site was slow and consumed a ton of server resources. Now it's 10 times faster, and on a server half the size of my old one. ### 3. Little support from the community, finding assistance could be more difficult with LiteSpeed as there isn't as large of a support group as there is with other servers in case of issues. Intergration with other software is difficult and thus has a learning curve element. **What problems is LiteSpeed Web Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** LiteSpeed Web Server offers enhanced performance (caching, CDN), scalability, security, efficiency, and compatibility in order to tackle the main issues that our websites encounter. There are many features built-in on LiteSpeed Web Server i.e. Full page cache. So, we don't need varnish anymore if we using Openlitespeed/Litespeed. - Good Support **What do you dislike about LiteSpeed Web Server?** - Some features like LiteMage offer a limited cachable object if you are on basic package. - Document for this product not up to date, Lack of tutorial for paid subscription version. - Hard to configure by yourself at first time **What problems is LiteSpeed Web Server solving and how is that benefiting you?** Webserver lightweight is better afterI use LiteSpeed. I have been using them for years to power multiple servers and it's an absolute necessity. Here are some points that stood out for me: - Running a LiteSpeed servers is miles faster than a conventional Apache server. - The WordPress plugin offers tremendous control. - They operate a CDN called: Quic.cloud which does dynamic Wordpress caching (and can be used alongside CloudFlare). Another layer of performance ontop of caching. - Support is stellar. They help via email and Slack. It's honestly a complete caching performance solution. Having one team all behind the server, caching and CDN really provides an incredible advantage! I think you can try it out for free for 15 days. **What do you dislike about LiteSpeed Web Server?** With great power comes great complexity. I fricken hate Nginx. I can not be stuffed having to do custom settings for things that would just work in apache. If they work in apache, they invariably work in Litespeed. Litespeed gives me even fast than Nginx results, without the annoying need for many setup tweaks. Plug and play. ### 9.
