## LinkedIn Premium Reviews
  ### 1. LinkedIn is Helpful for Understanding People Before Reaching Out

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mamta N. | Founder and CEO, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

I like LinkedIn Premium because it provides more context than a regular profile view. I regularly use profile insights, InMail, search filters, and Who Viewed Your Profile. Having access to additional information makes it easier to understand people's backgrounds, interests, and connections before starting a conversation. One unexpected benefit is that profile insights often help me discover common interests or mutual connections that I would have otherwise missed.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

I think Some Premium features are extremely useful, but the subscription cost can feel high for people who do not use them every day. I also think certain insights could be presented more clearly, especially when reviewing profile activity. More flexibility in Premium plans would make the service even better.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, I often had limited visibility into profiles and relied mostly on publicly available information. Now with LinkedIn Premium I can use advanced search filters, profile insights, and InMail to better understand people and make interactions more meaningful. This has reduced the amount of guesswork involved and helped me communicate with more confidence. One unexpected benefit is that I have discovered interesting professionals and communities that I probably would not have found otherwise.

There are some business premium features that I wish were part of the individual's premium options. The jump in price makes it impossible for individuals otherwise.

**What do you like best about LinkedIn Premium?**

LinkedIn Premium has greatly improved my networking and job search experience. The InMail feature allows me to contact professionals outside my immediate network, which has led to opportunities I might not have found otherwise. I also value the expanded profile insights-being able to see who has viewed my profile and access detailed applicant information helps me better tailor my outreach and job applications. The learning courses are an excellent addition as well, enabling me to develop new skills directly on the platform. All in all, it’s a valuable resource for building strong professional connections and advancing my career.

**What do you dislike about LinkedIn Premium?**

The primary drawback of LinkedIn Premium is its price, which may seem steep, particularly for individual users or job seekers with limited budgets. The value you get from the subscription often depends on how frequently you make use of its features-InMail credits and insights might go unused if you’re not regularly networking or searching for jobs. Furthermore, some of the insights and recommendations can appear limited or repetitive, and not every feature offers a clear benefit over the free version for all users.

**What problems is LinkedIn Premium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LinkedIn Premium addresses the issue of limited visibility and restricted communication that comes with the free version. With Premium, I’m able to send direct messages to professionals outside my network through InMail, which has made it much easier for me to connect with recruiters, industry leaders, and potential collaborators. The service also gives me more detailed insights into who has viewed my profile and how I stack up against other applicants, which has been useful for refining my job search strategy and making my outreach more effective. Additionally, the LinkedIn Learning courses are a great advantage, as they allow me to pursue professional development on demand without needing to use other platforms.
