What do you like best about Lime Text?

As this software is based on Sublime text the interface is very familiar (if you have previously used Sublime). This makes transitioning a lot easier.

The editor has all the various features you would expect from a decent editor and also provides the ability to use Sublime text 3 packages - Again this helps with migrating, you can use the same modules you currently rely on. The other great features are CLI access, QML, multi-platform and Opensource (you can modify the editor to suit your own requirements if you are competent in GO). What do you dislike about Lime Text?

The only negative is that the software is provided as source-code only, you need to build the software from this which requires a little more knowledge and also other software to compile.

This would be greatly improved and pickup more traction if builds were also released for the most popular platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lime text is a great tool and replacement for Sublime Text.

Although Sublime is a great piece of software and rich in features, it is fundamentally shareware - a commercial application that you need to purchase to use to its full potential.
