**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever is great for roles where you get a high volume of applicants, you can bulk disposition as well as bulk message candidates which is helpful for taking action on several things at once. The interview scheduling tool is also very useful and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It can be difficult to sort candidates when it comes to "disqualifiers" such as compensation expectations, location, etc.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps me with collecting candidate resumes, bulk dispositioning/advancing candidates, scheduling interviews, and hiring new talent into the organization. The ability to take action on several candidates at once saves time and energy when compared to other ATS.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Keeps it simple and to the basics, which is a great expereince for hiring managers and candidates alike. 

Has also a lot of great automation and features, and new ones every release update. 

Is built to scale very well. Even globally with multiple locations and regiulations.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

To unlock features it's very expensive

User seat model. Given only 20% of the company actually needs access to the system every day, it's very expensive to have to pay for the other 80% who only use the system 1-2 times a year as interivewers. Also becomes SUPER expensive as you scale with this model. Not attractive for the long run. But for small startups it's perfect to get going.

Lacking a bit on the training side. More video tutotials that can be used to train up new hiring managers/ointerivewers would save a lot of time and energy

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the majority of Talent Acquisition needs in bringing in new talent via various channels. I'm also able to setup campaigns to build leads and talent pool. 
Managers can also easily schedule interivews with preformatted feedback forms for each relevant type of intterview. Scheduling is even easier with the synchronised calendar feature. 

Helps track hiring metrics and use the Insights dashboards to tell the story of hiring for a selected time. This help us to predict trands and make adjustments.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever makes scheduling my candidates for interviews a piece of cake. It's a great snapshot of all of the folks I have in my pipeline and need to keep in touch with. The tools for emailing are great and I love the easy book feature that I use daily.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I wish I could pick how many intros I want to do a way, there is no way for me to set up a max at this time. Also the buffer time doesn't seem to truly show an accurate picture of my current calendar and available time slots. I also wish reporting for the users was easier to put together.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a organized place to find our candidate information. It provides a simple soultion to scheduling candidates for interviews and templates for outreach. Saves time and the information available is very valuable to our team.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I have used Lever at multiple places of work and it is by far the best ATS I've used. In regards to implementation, the Lever team really guides you through the process and helps you every step of the way. When using Lever, it integrates with every form of communication I use like slack, email, and linkedin; this allows for seamless communication to candidates. It really enhances the candidate experience because it shows me all the data I need for each role, sends me messages when I need to update candidates, and organizes all information for each req. It truly is the best friend to a recruiter!

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Every now and then I've ran into issues with Lever when an integration becomes faulty or an email goes to a candidates junk folder. Although more often than not these issues are easily fixable.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The customer support and implemantation specialist (Ferno) are awesome to work with. They are responsive and really try to help to solve an roadblocks along the way. The gui is pretty intuitive and it's very clean without a lot of distraction. The ability to pull up any record by keyword is extremely helpful as we continue to build out database of candidates. The integrations were also relatively easy. Lastly, we were able to build in a few email template and automations that make us more reliable and time efficient. All of this was guided by our implementation manager which made the process much less daunting to know we had a champion in our corner.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There is a new product of career site builder that still has formatting kinks that need to be worked out so that does affect how clean and professional the posting looks. In addition, the scheduling function is a bit restrictive if you do complex scheduling and we currently are not able to use it in it's current form but hope that the development team will take suggestions for improvement.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1)The ability to build an easily searchable database and ability to build and nurture select pools. 2) ability to track interview feedback 3)ability to stores notes and related documents 4)ability to record approvals. This all results in a system that is a single source of truth

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I am a Recruiter using Lever as our organization's ATS. I love Lever's user interface, it's intuitive and easy to use. I also appreciate that we have regular updates to the system with new features released. For example, the most recent release featured a "home" tab which summarizes your current job openings, pending tasks or actions and gives a great overview of what's on my plate. I love it!

I enjoy the Easybook feature that automates a very time consuming task — interview scheduling. 

It also has commendable automated reporting abilities, which can allow organizations to have interesting insights from their hiring process. 

Lever's support team is easy to reach and reliable with response time. 100% of my questions so far have been directly answered.

While I"ve covered the top on my list, there are many other pros to using Lever and I  would definitely recommend it to professionals looking for an ATS.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Lever is missing some features that would really aid the hiring process. For example, the ability to group candidates under a Talent pool or folder. If I am hiring an accountant and could not consider a set of strong candidates due to salary differences, or seniority, I would love to easily pool them within a folder that I can easily access at one go. While Lever does give you the ability to add a tag to candidates and search for them in the future, each profile still exists separately within the database and it is tough to review them all together via tags.

I also feel that Lever would do better if some other features were more customisable like the rating scale in their feedback forms and in the candidate experience survey. Different organizations are likely to have varying approaches to scoring candidates, and having the option to have a Likert scale or some other scales would be great.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely automation! Lever automates very challenging parts of our hiring process which allows us to focus more on finding the right talent and lesser on administrative parts of the job like scheduling and reporting.

Lever's team accepts feedback and has provided several updates in their system. For example, they updated their search feature in the recent past that allows you to search for a candidate using multiple different data points within your database ( like email ID, contact number, resume details etc) which was not the case earlier. This demonstrates their ability to put customers first, understand needs of their users and promptly update the system to accommodate these needs.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The implementation process led by Alex Lecko from Lever was fantastic. He walked us through every step of implementation and was available to troubleshoot whenever necessary. Lever has a lot of great resources in their knowledge base as well that make the process of adopting a new system much less daunting. The system was very easy to set up and the user interface is great as well.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The record of communication with candidates within the opportunity page could be presented in a better manner. If you have communicated a lot back and forth with a candidate, the page can get a little cluttered.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever has helped us redefine our approach to recruiting. It has eliminated a lot of manual tasks that we had to perform with our previous ATS, saving our team lots of time and resources.

Workflows are fairly intuitive, overall it works well enough for our growing department.

Reporting can be a bit of a pain to organise. The integration with M365 can be frustruating to setup if you have a more complex security setup on M365.

The Lever team has created a great software that makes the applicant tracking system very user friendly and efficient. Lever has an implementation plan in place that they share with you and can modify per your organization's needs.  The team at Lever is receptive to learning feedback for future software updates. We were lucky to have had a very savvy Implementation Specialist, Tom Marino. He worked with us on our timeline and was very supportive throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I believe scheduling panel interviews could be streamlined a little further in the sense that it would help to have the capability to hold time on panelist calendars then finalize the email communication to the candidate once the candidate has been selected.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use for our hiring managers in reviewing resumes, rating applicants, and moving candidates through the interview to offer stages.
Also, there are privacy settings and reminder notices that we appreciate.
Finally, Lever offers great ability to capture data .

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I really like the ease of use not just on the talent aquisition side, but for our hiring teams. Seamless communication between us and candidates, transparency into stages and communication, automation, and more. I love Lever and this is the 3rd company I've used it (2nd time implementing it). Their customer support is also very helpful and quick to respond and works diligently to resolve any issues. We've also been able to integrate with our HRIS and other tools very easily.

Ferno on the implementation side was absolutely phenomenal! The tracker the team uses to help keep us aligned on the steps and associating it with help articles is the best I've seen.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I think "dislike" is a strong word to describe anything about Lever. But there are areas of opportunity and their team is very open to feedback! One example of an area for opportunity is the ability to drag and drop during scheduling, as well as schedule one candidate over multiple days in one window (like one panel, but split up due to availability).

I just watched their winter release webinar and really excited about some of the upcoming updates!

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before making the move to Lever, we ran into a lot of issues with our previous system (Greenhouse). We were not able to easily navigate candidate profiles, customize interview forms, and there were so many clicks to get to different parts of a profile. Scheduling was also a challenge, and if an interview needed to be rescheduled we had to delete the interview ands start over instead of just rescheduling it. Lever solves all of these issues and more!

Lever stores data of all the candidates, this is especially helpful when we were changing the HRIS systems and lost some data in the transition. Lever was our backup.

Coming from salesforce to lever was an adjustment, but it is just as powerful as SF was.

It took a lot longer to learn than SF, wasn't as easy at first, but not any issues now.

The interview scheduling capabilities. Being able to reach out to multiple candidates for availability and schedule them seamlessly.

Hiring managers seem to be able to schedule an interview and it would be nice to be able to prevent certain users from scheduling interviews. Also I would like to be able to Bold candidate names again after they have already been viewed in the pipeline.

Lever is making managing the interviewing pipelines much easier.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It is the easiest ATS to work within compared to all the other platforms out there. You can be a 1 person show or on a team of 50+ recruiters and Lever should still be the leading tool. The implementation was very straightforward and Tom was the best guide to help me get from start to finish. Our team uses this every day and it helps us flow very efficiently.

Lacking a couple of features that other ATS offer but hoping they release them soon.

It has been the top ATS for me and I have used this system for 5+ years. I have worked within other ATS platforms and Lever is leading the race in top ATS systems.

besides the occasional quirks, like trying to remember how to filter through candidates efficiently or the times it feels like it’s hiding features in plain sight, it’s mostly smooth sailing. But hey, every tool has its quirks

We had our 'Account Manager' reach out to us to renew our account. Never heard from her before and she reached out with 6 weeks to go and said if we don't renew on time our account will be on hold. Also there would be an 8% increase.

None of that was partiuclarly surprising until she told us that as part of our existing service we had Quarterly reviews with our success manager. We've had one email in 12 months, last month, asking if we needed a catch up.
When this was flagged our 'Account Manager' blamed us and said we should have reached out. 
We're a global SaaS company. We recruit and employ Account Managers and Customer Success Managers and if this was the level of 'support' that we provided to our customers we'd be having a rethink of what the definition of customer support is.

Lever has changed the way we recruit at my firm. Here are some of the things that I like the most:
- The quick applications review feature
- The functionality of Outlook and Zoom is integrated with Lever and works well. 
- Fast customer support response
- Quarterly releases of new and improved feautures
- Easy book links makes scheduling calls with candidates quick and seamless
- Feedback forms enables quicker communication between recruiters and hiring managers

While Lever is impressive, I believe there are some things that could be improved:
- Not everything is customizable or can be removed if not needed (offer field requirements, requisition requirements, etc.)
- Some bugs in reviewing applications in the quick review 
- "Opportunity" is referred to as a candidate and a job
- Support should have zoom capability so that you can easier describe the problems you are having instead of asking for links or pictures

However, I found the pricing to be on the higher side, which might be a deterrent for smaller businesses. Additionally, configuring complex workflows required some learning curve.

Overall, Lever CRM proved to be an invaluable tool for optimizing our recruitment efforts. Its intuitive design, integration capabilities, and emphasis on collaboration significantly improved our hiring processes and helped us attract top talent effectively.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Configurations for the offer functionality are very clunky and complex. You almost need to learn how to program, and some of the boxes can not be removed (which is kind of stupid).
Also, DocuSign integration could be much better, and more intuitive. 
The NDA integration with DocuSign does not let me ask the candidate to write custom fields (such as position or ID number which makes the NDA kind of invalid).

My favorite part of Lever is the job posting templates, ease of scheduling with easy book links, and the amazing support during implementation. Tom Marino was our implementation specialist and he worked through so many obstacles with the team from understanding our needs to shifting schedules to make sure everyone could make the training. Tom was able to explain each part of the process and features in a way that the team felt confident in the material, and also empowered to reach out to him if they needed a little more support.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Unable to receive candidate availability. Using easy book links to schedule for the first round or two of interviews is great, but when scheduling panel interviews or interviews with executives, we prefer to collect the candidate availability then complete the booking ourselves. Lever does not have that option yet.

Lever is creating an ease for scheduling and a streamlined approach to see all candidates in the pipeline per job. It took some time to get used to but overall, the system is working well.

The integration between Lever and our company's job posting is also very user-friendly. As an employee, I have used Lever multiple times to refer candidates. As an individual contributor, I would recommend Lever to any company who needs a referral system.

Lever is very easy to use and navigate. If you are trying to refer someone there is a dashboard that clearly outlines who you have referred and what their status is in the application process. It's also great for tracking applications for yourself.

There are a few things I would change and the biggest one would be connecting our google accounts to Lever so that when you click on a recruiter's name, it provides you with a box to send them an email directly via google instead of pulling up your computer email system. Additionally, I wish there was a function to see attachments on past applications.

Lever is the tool we use for tracking our applicants and referrals company-wide. This is the easiest way as an employee to refer friends and family and actually provide them withh helpful feedback on their application status.

Additionally, whenever I refer a candidate to a role, it's incredibly easy for me to look into updates about the hiring status for that candidate (which I look at frequently).

Since everything is so easy to use (at least, for the purposes in which I use Lever), there really isn't anything I dislike about Lever. It clearly lays out all the information I would need.

I use Lever as a way of formally referring people from my network to roles available at my company. I have referred quite a few candidates, and it's a super simple process. Firstly, I commend Fero for their excellent work. They were incredibly intuitive in understanding our needs and provided us with a perfect project plan for the implementation. Their guidance was instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition to Lever ATS. 

Second, the intuitive nature of Lever's platform made it easy for our team to adapt and utilize its features effectively. The project planning was spot-on, thanks to the expertise and guidance of Ferno.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

One major hurdle was migrating data from our previous ATS  system, which incurred a high cost and required significant effort.  The field mapping with our existing HRIS also could have been better designed.   Additionally, we encountered IT configuration issues that delayed the process and acted as a blocker.

Solving a lot because we had UKG before and it was not good.

The implementation was great. We had a very clear plan, direction and the weekly meetings were a bright spot in our weeks. The system was easy to use, customize and impelment!

It's more on our end - our security team is very small and they weren't able to grant clearance to utilize Lever with the sync functionality. Being limited in this way limits our level of efficiency of use within the system.

Candidate experience - we're able to reply to candidate interest in a more timely manner. The application process is now streamlined and our host career site is much cleaner. 
Recruiter experience - we can save time by utilizing our job posting and candidate templates. We can leverage utilizing multiple locations on job postings. Being able to duplicate job postings is a huge efficiency add. Having the opening and closing statements for postings is also a win. As for sifting through applicant traffic, the archive + email functionality (especially the delay email!) is huge in staying on top of all applicants that apply.

They have top notch customer service and a fantastic implementation process. Overall, the software fits our needs and is customizable enough that we can make it fit our processes and not the other way around.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Nothing major that stands out as a flaw with the tool. There are of course, features I would like to see added, but our implementation specialist Tom was fantastic at ensuring our feedback was submitted on the product whenever one of these changes came up!

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever provides us with a centralized place to house our applicants and the tools we need to increase collaboration and visibility in our hiring process amongst our internal team.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

We just implemented Lever but have found it incredibly easy to use. The reporting functionality is awesome. We also had such a great implementation manager (Tom Marino) who really guided us through all the ups and downs of implementing a new product. He really eased the way for us to have a successful transition. It's been super easy to integrate all our functionality (ie assessments, background checks, etc). All in all, we are really excited to be a Lever customer.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I haven't found anything I dislike yet although I am curious to see how some of our assessments come through the system. But other than that, we've been really happy with the product!

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an ATS that we were using but it really lacked the reporting functionality that we wanted / needed. The reporting capabilities, the ease of use and more is the reason we chose Lever.
