## Lever Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive and Innovative, but Support Has Diminished Over Time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sydney T. | Senior Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Very intuitive and easy to use. I like that Lever continues to innovate and add new features and functions to the product. They integrate with most tools necessary to do our job. The performance is fairly consistent, with only a few issues over the many years we've been using the tool.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Support has diminished over time. I understand the surge of AI and using AI to combat support tickets, but sometimes, it's really a human who can give the best service.

On AI: The products they put out as free are the worst performing from experience, and the products that I am most excited about are more expensive and an upcharge.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of candidates in our interview process feels very simple when using Lever.

 ### 2. Effortless Recruitment with Enhanced Pipeline Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I love how Lever centralizes and structures our recruiting efforts, providing strong visibility into pipelines that's invaluable for quickly assessing pipeline health and identifying bottlenecks. The ease of use is fantastic; I can move faster, make better decisions, and ensure candidates aren't languishing in any stage for too long. It's really efficient to manage sourced candidates, outreach, and pipeline management all in one platform. The straightforward initial setup allowed us to get our core workflows running without significantly disrupting daily operations.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I would love to see an investment in the AI capabilities of Lever. I see an opportunity to make it more proactive and intelligent in the resume screening stage. This would help reduce manual effort and allow me to spend my time on other high-priority items. It would be helpful if AI could provide a clearer summary of relevant experience, rank candidates by role fit, and highlight non-obvious but potentially strong matches to roles.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever centralizes recruiting, solving visibility, consistency, and tracking issues. It boosts efficiency by quickly assessing pipelines and managing candidates, leading to a better candidate experience.

**Official Response from Megan Ferenz:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that Lever is helping you centralize your recruiting efforts and gain better visibility into your pipelines!

 ### 3. Simplifies Hiring with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara K. | Clinical Recruiter/ Talent Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I use Lever for its applicant tracking system in my role with Vida. Lever helps me stay organized, and I appreciate the way it queues everyone neatly for the next step, making it easy to tag folks and share candidates. This helps our organization work towards hiring top people. I like its straightforward functions and find the layout is simple enough for people who don't use it daily to understand if asked to contribute. Some valuable features for me are search, talent fit, and staging, which keep people and positions in motion, allowing us to easily tap into the hiring funnel. The initial setup of Lever was so easy, which was another plus. While I also like Greenhouse a bit more, Lever is a product I like and would recommend.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The AI talent fit is not perfect yet, and the search feature could be improved as it doesn't always work as I'd like it to, like in LinkedIn. Candidates should be queued in the pipeline so recruiters see them as they apply, with first applicants at the top, not the bottom.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps me stay organized, easily tag and share candidates, and keeps our hiring process moving smoothly. It simplifies tracking by neatly queueing applicants for the next steps, helping us hire top talent.

**Official Response from Megan Ferenz:**

> Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear Lever is helping your team stay organized. We truly appreciate you being part of our community.

 ### 4. Excellent ATS for Various Business Sizes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The flexibility. Having some, well-modularized features available as add-ons allows the system to be flexed to business needs. Smaller businesses can access the advantages of a full ATS at a reasonable price point, while large businesses can get a suite of enterprise-level additions to round it out.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

While I understand the reasoning behind the universal pipeline, it's extremely confusing to managers that do not use all the stages. I've never worked at a business that had a single process flow for all jobs, and having the ability to flex the pipeline stages (at least maybe the visibility of them?) would be super helpful in reducing manager confusion with their position pipelines.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever keeps everything to do with our hiring process in one place instead of spread out in a variety of hard-to-manage locations, methods, etc. It also streamlines approvals and communication amongst a team.

**Official Response from Jill Fox:**

> Thanks so much for the review!

 ### 5. Clean UI and solid for scale, but pricey and not great support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samanta J. | Head of Talent Acquisition, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

We use Lever as our ATS in a fast-moving, scaling environment where speed of setup and adoption were important. One of its biggest strengths is how clean and intuitive the interface is. Onboarding time was minimal, which mattered bc we needed to move quickly, and the initial setup didn’t require much external support.

Lever became a core ops tool for us and is used daily. The customizable workflows and automations are particularly helpful when dealing with higher hiring volume, as they reduce manual coordination and help keep processes consistent across roles and teams.

The LI integration works smoothly in practice, and the in-app support chat is useful for resolving small, tactical questions w/o slowing the team down. Overall, it provides enough structure and visibility to keep hiring on track without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Customer support feels more reactive than proactive in our experience. Outside of renewal cycles, there is limited ongoing engagement, which makes the relationship feel transactional rather than advisory.

Pricing can also be a constraint for smaller or earlier-stage teams. While the core product is strong, some advanced capabilities, particularly around reporting, come at an additional cost that may not be accessible to all teams, like ours.

Finally, the latest analytics layout is difficult to use in practice. Getting to the data needed for day-to-day decision-making isn't always intuitive, and reporting requires more effort than expected unless you invest in higher-tier options.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Lever, we were relying on spreadsheets and a mix of disconnected tools to track candidates, which created a lot of noise and manual work. Lever solved the core problem of centralizing candidate data and hiring activity in 1 place, which immediately reduced coordination overhead.

Having a single system made collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers much smoother, w/o constant back-and-forth or status updates. The built-in automations, particularly around follow-ups and routine tasks, removed a significant amount of admin work from the recruiting process.

As a result, the team is more organized, spends less time managing processes, and more time on high-value work like candidate conversations and decision-making.

 ### 6. Streamlined Applicant Management with Room for Improved Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I use Lever for posting jobs across different platforms and organizing applicants. Lever saves time with job postings and allows me to focus on different aspects of my job. I like how Lever organizes job applicants through archives and the ability to look through old job postings. I like how Lever integrates with many different platforms.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I haven't had as much success with Lever/LinkedIn integration. I know it's there, but there have been some mistakes with integration such as applicants getting rejected when actually qualified. I've had [applicants] apply through LinkedIn and they received a rejection email when they were actually qualified. I'm not sure if the screening questions transferred correctly.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever to streamline job postings and organize applicants, saving time and letting me focus on other tasks. It integrates with various platforms and archives applicant details efficiently.

**Official Response from Megan Ferenz:**

> We love hearing this, thank you for sharing your experience! Knowing Lever is helping support your hiring efforts means a lot to us. If there’s ever anything we can do to make your experience even better, don’t hesitate to reach out.

 ### 7. Effortless Recruitment with User-Friendly Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanya V. | People Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I think Lever is very easy to use. I really like how the setup includes different banners for notes, feedback, emails, and forms. It makes it really helpful for other teammates to find only the information that they need. It makes it really easy to gather information such as referrals and have them all in one place. I would say it's pretty easy to set up with videos for everything we needed to learn, so everything was really straightforward and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I haven´t encountered any issues without a solution

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever to easily contact and manage candidates, uploading applicants in a database and moving them through stages. It simplifies sharing profiles, managing candidate experience, gathering information in one place, and helping teammates find needed details with tabs for notes and feedback.

**Official Response from Megan Ferenz:**

> Thanks so much for taking the time to share this, we really appreciate it. It’s great to hear Lever is making a positive impact for your team. We’ll be sure to pass this along to the folks behind the scenes who make it all happen!

 ### 8. Streamlined Hiring with Quick and Easy Flows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandra B. | Senior Information Technology Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I find Lever to be quick and easy to use, which makes a big difference compared to heavy applicant tracking systems where applicants might not apply because of the heavy and time-consuming inputs. Lever makes it easy to get candidates. I also appreciate the good workflows as they really help in segregating candidates across different pipelines, which eases the hiring process. Additionally, I find the mailing feature interesting.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Data analytics is not good. Searches in questionnaire or filtering is not available. A calling option from the system can be more beneficial.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps me find talent easily and manages workflows to segregate candidates across pipelines, easing the hiring process. It's different from cumbersome ATS; candidates apply without heavy input requirements. Mailing is interesting too.

 ### 9. Seamless Recruiting with Robust Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris M. | Director of Recruiting

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I use Lever as my company's primary recruiting ATS. Lever made the transition from our previous ATS relatively seamless. It simplifies evaluating our candidates from multiple online sources by consolidating them in a central location. I appreciate the relatively easy-to-navigate UI and UX of the platform since it is used by several members of my company, some of whom have less technical background. The user-friendly UI and UX save me considerable time, with fewer clicks and less back-and-forth navigation. The implementation representative was helpful during setup, and the reporting system has robust capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I can appreciate the robust capability that Lever's reporting system offers, but I would like to see it be a bit more user-friendly and simplified if possible.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever to simplify candidate evaluation from multiple sources, making it easier. The user-friendly UI and UX save time and are accessible for team members with varying technical skills.

**Official Response from Meredith Simmons:**

> Hi Chris!

Thank you for your feedback! I've shared your review with our Customer leadership team. Thanks for being a Lever customer.

 ### 10. Intuitive, Efficient, and Solid Tool for Recruiters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I love the organization aspect of Lever as everything is easy to see and find, making it very intuitive and user-friendly for day-to-day tasks as a recruiter. The customization options available in Lever allow me to tailor my experience to fit my workflow, enhancing my efficiency. I particularly enjoy the quick resume review feature, which simplifies the process of clicking through resumes and efficiently handling candidates whether it's archiving, emailing rejections, or moving them to interview rounds. Additionally, the new Talent Intelligence feature is exciting as it helps flag candidates that are likely a good fit based on the AI interpretation of their resumes, offering a modern approach to recruitment challenges. Furthermore, Lever's integration capabilities with other tools we use, such as HRIS BOB, Checkr, and sourcing tools like Covey Scout, are incredibly beneficial as they create a seamless recruitment pipeline. Finally, my overall satisfaction with Lever is reflected in my high recommendation score of 10.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I would love if the Talent Intelligence feature used more of a ranking option so I could see how candidates are being sorted. I would also love to see improvement to the filtering options - sometimes incorrect results are provided. For Talent Intelligence, there is no way to filter by candidates who are not a fit. I'd love to have that option.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever to organize recruitment tasks, streamline candidate communications, schedule interviews, and utilize tools like quick resume review and Talent Intelligence for assessing candidate fit effectively.

**Official Response from Jill Fox:**

> Thanks for the review, Amber! I am very happy to share new functionality just came out in our Summer 2023 release around search functionality. Learn more about it here: https://help.lever.co/hc/en-us/articles/115005707943-Searching-the-database-for-candidates

 ### 11. Streamlines Hiring with Efficient Scheduling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like that I can directly schedule candidates in Lever and that hiring managers can leave their comments and feedback. Lever’s direct scheduling features accelerate the hiring process and elevate the candidate experience by eliminating tedious back-and-forth calendar coordination. The initial setup of Lever was super easy and fast.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The reporting part is confusing and it's not getting all the data we need.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever for pulling candidates through the hiring process, direct scheduling to accelerate hiring, and allowing hiring managers to leave feedback. It enhances candidate experience by removing tedious back-and-forth scheduling.

 ### 12. Comprehensive ATS with Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua A. | Senior Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I appreciate the integrations and automations Lever provides, which make it easy to integrate with our other software. I appreciate the level of tracking and the ability to schedule and reschedule very quickly. From an HR compliance perspective, I appreciate the tracking, the ability to make notes, and communicate through Lever to other stakeholders on candidate-specific profiles. I really appreciate the way it gives us the opportunity to integrate our texting system and track text message correspondence in the candidate profile. It even helps with our screeners for applications and the different tags for candidates. Lever really helps streamline the hiring process. I appreciate the overall user interface and all of the options, including data pulls that are very easy and specific. Overall, I appreciate Lever as a very comprehensive applicant tracking system.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

On an infrequent occasion, Lever experiences an error, most recently resulting in email templates not populating. This issue prevented us from sending offer letters. While customer service is helpful, there was a specific instance where it took over a week to get a resolution, which hindered our productivity for that period. Additionally, the ability to get back online quickly when there's an error on Lever's back end could be improved.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is our go-to for candidate tracking, communication, and HR compliance, and hiring, helping us schedule interviews, manage feedback forms, and integrate seamlessly with our other tools.

 ### 13. Easy to Pick Up, but Analytics Are Hard to Use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie B. | Senior Manager, People Transformation- AI and Automation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

it isn’t over engineered and it can be easy to pick up

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The analytics are terrible, hard to use and confusion to take in

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Only basic ATS really, it doesn’t have any strong features that solve our day to day problems

 ### 14. Solid Tool for Everyday Hiring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Reporting
Unified Pipeline
Approval workflows

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Manual scheduling
Missing name pronunciation
Automation cannot be duplicated
Hiccups in data

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Lever has been a solid tool for managing workflows and keeping things organized. We use it daily, and it’s easy to navigate and work in. Features like scheduling, the unified pipeline, and Insights dashboards are especially helpful and make collaboration across the team more seamless. There are still areas that could be improved, but it’s been reliable and effective for day-to-day use.

**Official Response from Jill Fox:**

> Thanks for the review! Check out the help article around Scheduling, linked below. We also have 10+ Scheduling integrations, that can be found here: https://leverpartner.com/category/scheduling

 ### 15. Efficient Recruiting with Streamlined Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James K. | Senior Contract Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I use Lever for recruiting and it helps in keeping everything organized. I really like its integration into Outlook, which allows me to schedule and see people's availability. This is a huge time saver. Also, the initial setup of Lever was fairly straightforward, which was great.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

finding new candidates

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever to keep everything organized and its integration with Outlook is a huge time saver for scheduling and seeing people's availability.

 ### 16. Great Platform but needing major upgrades to stay relevant

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kari R. | Sr. Executive Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Ease of use for our recruiting team and our hiring managers.
Constantly updating, making improvements, adding integrations.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Would like to be able to mark candidates as A,B, C or Diamond, Gold, Silver medalists so that our impact players are easily recognizable, something other than tagging. I would like a dashboard where I can visually add all the candidates I need to follow up with. I would like to have more control over the Talent Fit, it's a nice start but it is not accurate at all. Considering it is based on the Job Ad. We are changing from using job descriptions to actual job ads where the Talent Fit won't create the appropriate matches. I would like more control over what the managers are able to do and not do in the platform. I would like them to be able to see all of their open jobs and candidates, but I don't want them moving them through the pipeline or creating job offers. I have tried using the top of funnel automations, but they don't function the way I need them to, even with the help of our Account Rep and the Tech team. In general I and my team feel the AI is lagging way behind the competition for top of funnel and candidate outreach. Also, having ongoing integration issues for over two years with our CRM provider.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Candidate flow through the hiring stages. Management of candidates and database of candidates.

**Official Response from Jill Fox:**

> Thanks so much for the review, Kari! it is possible to mark candidates as silver medalists! Please reach out to our Support team to learn more.

 ### 17. Beware of their sneaky "auto-renew" terms

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin P. | Director of People Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

For small teams with occasional hiring needs, Lever works fine. It has most of the functionality to effectively hire. However, their pricing is more expensive than other ATS software with more robust features. You can easily cross-post your jobs to dozens of integrated job boards but the candidate quality is often questionable.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

If you are a startup, Lever will not give you access to a Customer Success Manager so you're left to navigate the ATS with their self-serve resources. This can be frustrating when you're trying to set up Lever and understand how to best use the platform. Additionally, I had an awful experience terminating my contract with Lever and ultimately had to pay for a full year of the software even though we switched to a different ATS. Lever sneaks an "auto renew" term into their contracts and hides a requirement for 30 day advance notice to cancel in their website's terms & conditions. Although I emailed Lever to cancel my software the day before the renewal date, I was told because I didn't provide 30 days' advance notice, the order form auto-renewed and they threatened to send us to collections if we didn't pay. I never received any communications from Lever leading up to the renewal and their team was extremely unhelpful in trying to find an amenable solution.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple job postings, accepting candidate applications, and running a hiring process.

 ### 18. User-Friendly but Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi V.

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I have been using Lever for over three years, mainly for recruiting and hiring candidates within my company. What stands out is its user-friendly interface which made getting started with it straightforward and seamless. I really appreciate Lever's ability to easily access and track hiring data, as well as export new hire information to our CRM. The automation features in Lever have proven to be incredibly useful, allowing me to set up processes that saved time and reduced our reliance on support staff, effectively saving us both time and money. Additionally, as far as I'm aware, Lever has been a good financial fit for our company, and my team is very happy with its functionality and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I do wish that Lever's support team was more accessible. I have gotten very frustrated at times with their support team because some of the other platforms that my team uses have support teams that are much more accessible than Lever's. It's not the end of the world, but it's something that I feel could be better.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lever to streamline recruiting and hiring by tracking hiring data easily and exporting new hire information. Lever's automations save us time and money by reducing support staff tasks.

 ### 19. User-Friendly and Integrable, Needs More Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikaela L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I really appreciate how user-friendly Lever is, making it easy for people to learn and navigate, which is crucial in my role as a TA coordinator. The software is well laid out, with features that organize candidates and job postings effectively. It allows seamless integration with systems like LinkedIn, automatically posting job listings, which saves our team valuable time. Lever's ability to track requisitions and maintain organization within the team is impressive. I also enjoy the connectivity it provides with other systems such as SAP, HR Hub, and LinkedIn, which enhances our efficiency. Moreover, the features for scheduling interviews, managing pending approvals, and creating offer workflows, which automatically bring up approvers, are extremely useful in streamlining our operations. The overall capability of housing almost all the information we need for managing candidates is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I find it challenging that requisitions require manual input of details, which increases the workload. It would be beneficial if this process could be automated to reduce the manual labor involved. Additionally, the current filter options within the jobs or requisitions sections appear insufficient, specifically lacking the capability to filter by hiring manager. This limitation has been a recurring concern for my team and myself, where the absence of adequate filter options stifles efficient navigation and data management.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever organizes candidates and job postings, integrates with systems like LinkedIn, and automates LinkedIn job postings, streamlining hiring. It tracks requisitions and centralizes information, enhancing team efficiency and support.

 ### 20. Automation Wins, But CRM Falls Short

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason P. | Owner StratTech Consulting

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I appreciate Lever's good user guides, which made it easy for me to configure most of the platform by myself due to my experience with applicant tracking systems. This is supported by the option to have a consultant assist if necessary. I find Lever's automation features particularly useful, as they allow the automation of almost any workflow, which considerably optimizes our recruiting processes. The job-specific knockout questions feature is also highlighted as being especially good, adding value to the hiring efficiency. Furthermore, Lever's ability to integrate with several other vendors satisfies our additional software solution needs effectively.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

{"I probably wouldn't buy Lever again because there are other better options in the marketplace now.","Lever's websites are not good, limiting their overall effectiveness.","Lever's CRM functionality is limited, which is a drawback for me.","The lack of a full career site offering within Lever is a significant issue, as even custom-built career sites lose functionality through the apply flow.","For small to midsize companies, the absence of a good career site bundled with the software is a major gap."}

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever automates job postings, centralizes candidates, and integrates with other software, simplifying recruitment in oil fields.

 ### 21. Simple and Effective Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Having implemented Lever at various companies, I can confidently recommend Lever to small and mid-size companies, and implementation has always been a breeze, with great support along the way. Lever makes recruiting feel easy. It keeps everything in one place and helps me stay organized across candidates, interviews, and feedback. The automation and reminders make it simple to keep things moving and stay on top of communication.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Some reports and filters could be a little easier to use. It takes a bit of time to set things up the way you want, but once it is dialed in, it works really well.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps me manage a high volume of candidates without losing track of communication or feedback. It keeps hiring managers aligned and makes collaboration simple. Having everything in one system saves time and helps me move great candidates through the process faster.

 ### 22. Solid recruiting tool with great tracking and collaboration features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alvaro I. | Director of Web Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever does its job very well. It allows me to maintain a clear funnel of all candidates across multiple job openings, making it easy to track where each person is in the process. I also appreciate how it keeps a record of all email communications between candidates and my team, and how we can share notes across departments. The activity tracking helps me stay on top of pending tasks, and the search functionality is excellent, especially helpful when I don’t remember exact candidate names. The filters and search options are spot on.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Sometimes the resumes (CVs) take longer than expected to load, which can be frustrating if you are in a middle of an interview. Also, I feel the dashboards, particularly for hiring managers, could provide more insights, such as average time to hire for specific roles, bottlenecks in the process, or better visual overviews of pipeline health.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps me to maintain a clear funnel of all candidates across different job openings. It tracks all email communications between me, my team, hr, and candidates, keeping everything in one place and avoiding miscommunication.

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Bulk changing stages, bulk email, bulk aything, resume review feature with the two buttons

Can't bulk upload from LinkedIn, very slow, can't see job opportunities' full title when opening a new one when you hover over.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i think the fast resume review is amazing for questions you have no application questions for

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like Lever's search engine and its good filters. Setting it up was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I think Lever could improve by providing automated emails. Feedback needs to be better, and the automatic communication aspect is lacking.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps in finding applications efficiently, and its search engine with good filters is especially useful.

 ### 26. Tremendous Improvements in Customer Service and Overall Functionality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natacha M. | Head of Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Over the last year, customer service and overall functionality have improved tremendously.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There are still some reporting functions with UKG that can be better.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipelining with the new AI feature has made it faster and easier for us to search for candidates in the system.

**Official Response from Megan Ferenz:**

> We really appreciate you sharing this! Feedback like yours helps others feel confident in choosing Lever, and it means a lot to our team. Thanks for being part of the journey with us.

 ### 27. Lever is a wonderful platform for streamlining the hiring process for finding the right talent.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivek Y. | DevOps Technical Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

1.) Easy to use interface which allows the non-technical individual to easily interact with the portal.
2.) Great automation workflows and pipelines features to reduce the manual work.
3.) Huge set of integration available such as Slack, Google, Zoom and more that enhance its features and functionalities.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

1.) It brings learning curve for new users and adapt to the platform due to it extensive features.
2.) Limited extension for available and less responsive on mobile views.
3.) Syncing issues can be faced by the user for email service.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is a incredible platform that solves critical challenges involved in the hiring process of candidates which is intuitive and rich features. It is helping us in regular basis to hire the right talent for our organization including the better candidate experience throughout the hiring initiatives.

 ### 28. Simple and straightforward, but otherwise poor compared to others I've used

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Defense & Space | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It is very simple and straightforward, easy to use for posting & review.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It does not auto-disposition despite having built-in Qualifying Questions and causes extra added lift on recruiting partners to filter responses out manually. Additionally, it often does not show that the person has been Archived in the active inbox, rather you have to manually click through the existing "applicant" pool to ensure they've disappeared from view as Archived. Additionally, if they are applying for more than one position, you cannot bulk disposition even with filtering based on a response as those who have applied to more than one job need to be manually removed and addressed individually. Also, adding and deleting users is a main, as most would not think to go to Surveys to find such insight. Posting jobs is easy, but the fields are not easily manipulated and often font is all wonky on the live page even if it looks right on the posting page. API Integration not easy to manipulate either without adding as IT. I use Lever daily so these are all ongoing irritants. As the Head of People, I will be moving us off this ATS to another platform once renewal becomes available.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy application process, easy posting

 ### 29. Worst ATS

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erica P. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Nothing, a lot of problems that make it hard on recruiters, interview panel, and hiring managers

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Poor user experience, can't filter open jobs, all jobs, closed jobs. Annoying to search a feedback form -- it should already have one in place like Greenhouse.

When searching a candidate in the search bar, the person usually never shows up.

It's not a smooth and seamless product, I have to constantly click on multiple things. It's a mess!!!

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing

 ### 30. Daily Use of Lever Hire

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Irving O. | Trust and Safety Specialist ll, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

As a daily user of Lever Hire, I’ve gained hands-on experience with its core features, integrations, and user experience, which allows me to assess both its strengths and areas for improvement.

User Interface and Ease of Use
Lever’s interface is one of its standout features—it’s intuitive, clean, and requires minimal training for new users. Navigating through candidates, jobs, and pipelines feels seamless, with thoughtful design elements like customizable pipelines and bulk action tools that save valuable time.

However, certain workflows—such as adjusting pipeline stages or configuring permissions—can feel less straightforward and require admin intervention, limiting agility for some recruiting teams.

Collaboration and Hiring Team Engagement
One of Lever’s greatest advantages is how it fosters collaboration. The ability to tag teammates, leave feedback directly on candidate profiles, and integrate with communication tools like Slack enables a highly interactive hiring process. Real-time visibility of hiring progress across stakeholders boosts transparency and accountability.

Integration Ecosystem
Lever integrates well with a wide range of HR tech tools, from background check platforms to onboarding solutions. The API access and webhooks also allow for custom integrations, making it adaptable to different hiring stacks. That said, some integrations require professional services or additional setup fees, which can be a barrier for leaner teams.

Automation and Reporting
The automation features—such as email sequences, interview scheduling, and workflow triggers—significantly reduce manual tasks. I use these daily to maintain candidate engagement and streamline repetitive communications.

Reporting is comprehensive, offering dashboards and exportable reports to track pipeline health, diversity metrics, and time-to-hire. While the reports are powerful, they require some customization to meet unique business KPIs, and some advanced reporting needs may need BI integration.

Candidate Experience
Lever’s customizable career site builder and application workflows contribute positively to the candidate experience. I’ve noticed fewer candidate drop-offs during the application process thanks to its mobile-friendly design and clear application steps.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Ease of Implementation
Implementing Lever was relatively smooth, supported by a dedicated onboarding team that guided the configuration and data migration. However, the platform’s customization depth means that full optimization can take time and ongoing collaboration between admins and recruiters. Certain integrations and reporting customizations required technical support or additional configuration time, which extended the initial timeline slightly. Overall, the setup was straightforward but required thoughtful planning to align the system with our hiring processes.

Customer Support
My experience with Lever’s customer support has been excellent. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive, especially during initial implementation and any troubleshooting. Documentation and resources are strong, although some articles could benefit from more step-by-step visuals for new users.

Areas for Improvement
While Lever covers most recruiter needs, a few improvement areas stand out:

More flexibility for recruiters (non-admins) to adjust workflows without admin access.

Faster iteration on feature requests—some enhancements take longer than expected to roll out.

Advanced reporting could be more self-service for non-technical users.

Overall Impact
Lever has been pivotal in enabling a collaborative, efficient, and candidate-friendly hiring process for our team. It reduces manual effort, keeps stakeholders aligned, and provides actionable insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

Frequency of Use: Daily
Deployment: Cloud-based
Ease of Implementation: Straightforward with onboarding support; some advanced configurations require additional effort.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is solving critical challenges around streamlining the hiring process, improving collaboration across hiring teams, and maintaining visibility into recruiting pipelines.

Before using Lever, tracking candidates and managing feedback across multiple stakeholders was fragmented, often requiring manual updates and scattered communications. Lever centralizes all candidate information, feedback, and actions in one platform, eliminating silos and ensuring that everyone involved in the hiring process is aligned and informed in real time.

It also automates repetitive tasks such as email follow-ups, interview scheduling, and status updates, freeing up significant recruiter time to focus on candidate engagement and strategic sourcing. The reporting and analytics features provide actionable insights to optimize hiring funnels, reduce time-to-hire, and identify bottlenecks—something that wasn’t easily accessible with previous tools.

The biggest benefit has been increased efficiency, better collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers, and a smoother candidate experience, ultimately helping us fill roles faster and with higher-quality hires.

 ### 31. Excellent Customization, But Needs Better On-Demand Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie D. | HR MANAGER, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The customization features are impressive, and the software is easy to use. Its intuitive design makes navigating and adjusting settings straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There is no on-demand customer support available, so instead of being able to call and speak directly with someone, I have to submit tickets for assistance.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a genuine ATS and recruitment software that also provides detailed CRM information. It serves as a one-stop shop for all your needs.

 ### 32. Good ATS for a SMB Company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever is easy to implement and use. There is a minimal learning curve, and it offers good basic analytics to track your performance. Integrating it with our tools like Coderpad was easy.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

- Job creation is clunky and redundant. You create the job posting and can easily A/B test it, but then you have to repeat the steps to create the requisition, which is what you need to hire a candidate.
If you want to open a general posting, there isn't an option for evergreen or posting requisition, which can affect your time to fill.
- Reporting: The dashboard offers many filters, but you can't filter by role type. To do this, you have to use Data Export, and it takes some tinkering to get there.
- Automated workflow- I can build the interview plan, but the advancement to the next stage is manual. This can cause delays and candidates getting lost.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance and centralizing candidate information.

 ### 33. Terrible experience - No support & Platform does not integrate

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haydin H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Sales person was great but did not understand product

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Terrible Company No support and CANNOT CONNECT WITH INDEED as promised in contract and terms and conditions. I submitted 4 cases to try and resolve with no response. They get you to sign the agreement and then leave you to figure it out yourself.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever did not solve any of our problems and created more by wasting our time with trying to setup for 3 months with no support. Would never recommend to work with

 ### 34. great tool for process automation and excellence in recruiting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta C. | People and Organisation Business Intelligence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I really like how Easy book links allow us to schedule interviews without us needing to use an external service. The integrations with personio reduce a lot of manual work. Finally, the data explorer feature is my favourite that allows us to build custom dashboards that allow a better overview of our own process and strategies

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The data explorer settings are limited: would like to have the option to choose who has access to each dashboard or to each set of data. Plus the easy screening option is only available on the screening stage, but it would be great to have it further on the process, eg before interviews and so on. Finally, I would like that the help center and the customer support would be more developed for complex issues since we usually are able to do basic trouble shooting, but we need support with more complex issues that are not available.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is key at reducing manual work by providing a LOT of different ways to automate and use bulk functions. Additionally, it allows for data and kpi dashboards built in the tool, which doesn't happen with most tools. this way, it is possible for our BI team to build custom-made dashboards

 ### 35. Lever Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria P. | Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Pretty intuitive and easy processes. And Managers love the visibility.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I don't like some of the hard-coded parts that don't allow for customization from company to company. Some of the processes seem to have been created without thinking about how actual recruiters use the system.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

solving manager access, less user error. benefits - none that haven't been mentioned.

 ### 36. Lever is Easy To Use and Great ATS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel P. | Assistant Vice President, Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Visual Insights. The reporting is very good.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Having more than 1 instance per company.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

**Official Response from Megan Ferenz:**

> Thank you for the kind words! We’re so glad Lever is working well for you.

 ### 37. Lever Simplifies Our Hiring Process from Start to Finish

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramesh S. | IT Security Specialist - IAM, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever makes it easy to track candidates and collaborate with the team. The interface is clean, and the built-in tools save us time during hiring.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Sometimes the reporting features feel a bit limited, especially when we need custom insights. Also, the search function can be little clunky when trying to find older candidates or specific notes.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps us manage the entire hiring process in one place. It solves the problem of scattered communication and makes it easy to track candidates, schedule interviews, and collaborate across teams - all of which saves time and improves our hiring speed.

 ### 38. Intuitive Interface, But Reports Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha E. | Sr TA Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Ease of use and customer support. I also like the number of features available

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The reports and data pieces are difficult to use and understand.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our ATS. It is a useful repository and candidate tracking and engagement platform. The ease of use makes it easy for my hiring managers to use.

 ### 39. User-Friendly Interface, But Access Management Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grigor B. | Founder, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Easy-to-use and easy-to-understand interface

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It seems complicated to differentiate the access for multiple people involved in the hiring process internally.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Application tracking for all position at the company. Public Job board

 ### 40. Lever User Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah V. | Talent Management Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

What I like best about Lever is its minimalistic design, which makes the interface clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate for both recruiters and hiring managers.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

What I dislike about Lever is the delayed support response when timely answers are needed, and the lack of an easy way to filter candidates by their application date, which can slow down the screening process.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps us streamline our hiring process by centralizing candidate information, improving team collaboration, and making it easier to track applicant progress. This has resulted in better organization, faster decision-making, and a more efficient recruitment workflow overall.

 ### 41. Highly recommend Lever for your next ATS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donnie H. | Director of Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

We have been using Lever for about 2 years now, and we absolutely love it. Beautiful interface, super easy to use. Also love how they are staying up to date with the latest and greatest technology and incorporating AI into their platform. Can't recommend them enough!

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I think the Virtual Insights (metrics) version of the platform can be tough to get learn, but once you do it's super powerful.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is very easy to use and is very customizable to your team and process. We love the scalability and ease of use.

 ### 42. User-Friendly Interface, But Frequent Bugs Disrupt Experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Easy to use UI/UX and workflow. I really don't have anything else major I like.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

My main concern is that Lever is buggy, like frequently. No mobile app. Reporting could be vastly improved. There are more fake candidates now than ever, and y'all need a blocking feature similar to Greenhouse (where you can mark candidates as spam, saving time). I'm a Greenhouse SME and believe their ATS is far superior for the growth that we need as a company.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're making hires, and that's the main goal.

 ### 43. Good Product, Ruined by Pathetic Support

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

There’s a lot to like about Lever — the interface is clean, the workflows are thoughtfully designed, and it has some genuinely helpful features. But none of that matters when the support experience is so poor that it overshadows everything else. If you're using Lever from India, be prepared for long delays, unresponsive support, and a complete lack of urgency. It turns every strength of the platform into a source of frustration.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Yes, Lever comes with a few useful features, but let’s be honest — those features aren’t unique. Almost every other ATS out there offers similar or even better capabilities. And sadly, even the most basic features that Lever claims to have — ones that should work without a hitch — are often broken, buggy, or behave unpredictably.

But what truly pushes this platform into a complete no-go zone is their atrocious customer support. It is, without exaggeration, one of the worst support experiences I’ve had with any SaaS platform. For every single issue — even a simple fix — you’re expected to follow up repeatedly. Not just once or twice, but 20+ times, over days or weeks. And after all that? Still no resolution. You’re left hanging.

Their support team rarely, if ever, gets on a call to resolve critical issues. Instead, you’re stuck in an endless loop of templated email responses, delays, and complete disregard for customer urgency. It doesn’t matter how much you’re paying or how large your team is — you’ll get the same poor treatment across the board.

So here’s the reality: your ROI will tank, your team will grow increasingly frustrated, and you’ll waste an enormous amount of time and energy chasing support for things that should just work.

My advice? Avoid Lever. Look elsewhere. There are better platforms with actual accountability and respect for their customers.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We heavily rely on Lever for internal recruitment, but its buggy product and poor support cause significant delays and consume excessive team time. We spend considerable effort troubleshooting and contacting support without effective resolution, negating the platform's benefits.

 ### 44. Good platform - easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin P. | People Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Easy to use, the support team is very fast and helpful. Very intuitive platform, even for non-tech savvy employees.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I wish I could repost jobs without having to close and repost them. Like a refresh button for job boards.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us track and streamline our hiring process and automate manual functions.

 ### 45. Seamless HiBob Integration Makes Work Effortless but terrible support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bachittar D S. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It integrates with our HRIS HiBob well and Okta

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The support is terrible. They ask the same questions over and over again and again.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us manage a recruitment funnel.

 ### 46. Lever Enhanced Everything!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki B. | HR Operations Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The most helpful part of lever is the ability to post one job posting to multiple sites with a click of a button (internal, external and not listed). The reporting features are extremely nice as well! The integration of the service across platforms was also pretty easy! The most difficult part of the process was actually on LinkedIn's side.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I don't dislike anything about lever - there is just a learning curve for companies that have never used this type of technology before. However, our Implementation specialist, Ally Nguyen, has held our hands the whole way and has been extremely helpful and responsive - no matter how dumb the question is.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is streamlining our recruitment process from requisiton to offers (soon to even be preemployment screens). Before lever everything was manually done - posting on all of the job posting sites, manually signing reqs via docusign and saving the complete docs in efiles, all resumes were gone through manually and candidates were pushed through the pipeline manually as well. There was so much room for error. We are also now able to pull real reports instead of manually figuring out time to fill etc..

 ### 47. Professional, Streamlined, and HR-Focused Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever stands out as a highly professional platform, offering an advanced and well-organized workspace for both reporting and tracking candidates. The user roles are distinctly defined, which helps approval workflows run seamlessly. It is clear that the platform was developed with a strong focus on HR needs.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I don’t have any negative thoughts about Lever. If I think really hard, I could say it would be nice if it were a bit more colorful, but that’s honestly not important.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a multinational company, it enabled us to move forward smoothly in our recruitment processes.

 ### 48. Great Overview, But Lead Duplication Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose A. | Talent Acqusition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

the best part is just to have the overview in hand

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

duplicate the leads when you are perform sourcing

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the way that we can find the candidates and shows the metrics more accurate in from the visual insights

 ### 49. Great product with some limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney K. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

LinkedIn RSC Integration and data explorer add-on. The RSC integration prevents copy/paste to track InMail outreach, and notes made in LIR are mirrored in Lever. The data explorer add on is a game changer for custom reporting. There is a bit of a learning curve but it's not steep, the way the data points are organized is intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The Standardized Candidate Location update that was presented as a product improvement in Feb 2024 is still malfunctioning over a year later. Lever inputs candidate located in NYC as Ontario; in CHI as Spain, etc. There is no way to update this in bulk myself and engineering has not offered a fix a year later.

The EasyBook links are limited, the ability to share a link by copy/paste is critical for user adoption.

I also dislike that one candidate can be added to a job multiple times. I don't see any use case for one candidate appearing in different pipeline stages for a single job.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever enables the org to centralize candidate information. We leverage the platform to manage the pipeline, track candidate engagement, recruiter performance, and workload balance.

 ### 50. Phenomenal + Integrations are great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiba A. | Manager, HRBP & Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It is super user-friendly but the key thing is how it integrates with a lot of hiring websites such as Indeed, LinkedIn etc. and this has helped traction significantly while helping us be more cost effective - because it takes away from the additional sponsoring.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Reporting can be better and user friendly for folks that may not be comfortable interpreting data

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The current automation is great; we are happy Lever is evolving with the times and looking for ways to make our work efficient.
