"Solid API and Clean Visit Metadata That Deliver Real ROI"

What do you like best about Leadfeeder?

The API is solid, we pull data into our warehouse and build our own scoring on top of it. The visit metadata (source, campaign, keyword) is clean and reliable. We also found out the landing page URLs keep the full query string, which let us extract Google Click IDs and feed conversions back to our ads, that alone paid for the subscription. UI is simple, does the job. Setup took about an hour. Support was responsive when we had API questions. Company identification has improved over the past year, decent coverage for our traffic size. Good ROI if you actually use the data instead of just browsing the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Leadfeeder?

The industry tags on companies are hit or miss, we ended up ignoring them and classifying companies ourselves. The "is in Salesforce" flag wasn't reliable either so we had to match against SF on our own. API pagination works but feels dated. And the ICP scoring they offer is basically empty, we never got useful results from it so we built our own. Would be nice if they exposed more fields through the API, some stuff you see in the UI doesn't come through. Not dealbreakers but you end up building workarounds. What problems is Leadfeeder solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had no idea which companies were visiting our site from paid ads. Now we know who clicks, score them as good fit or not, and feed that back to Google Ads so it stops wasting budget on bad leads. Before Leadfeeder our ad spend was basically blind, we'd optimize for clicks and form fills with no clue if the company behind it was even relevant. Now marketing and sales look at the same data. Hi Steve,

thanks for the detailed review, especially the note on using landing page query strings to pull Google Click IDs back into your ad optimization, that's a great example of getting real ROI out of the data instead of just browsing the dashboard.

Glad the API and visit metadata have held up well enough to build your own scoring on top of them.

On industry tags, the Salesforce flag, and ICP scoring, those are fair misses and we've passed the specifics along to our product team, including the request for more fields exposed through the API. Appreciate you pushing the product hard enough to find the edges.
