I was impressed by how Leadfeeder’s leadership ultimately handled my concerns. After reviewing the situation, their VP of Customer Success reached out personally, acknowledged that the renewal and cancellation process had not been handled correctly, cancelled the subscription immediately, and took full ownership of the issue.
While the original experience was frustrating, the transparency, accountability, and willingness to make things right significantly improved my impression of the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The renewal and cancellation process still needs improvement. I did not receive a renewal reminder before my annual renewal date, and there was no meaningful warning that the 30-day cancellation window was closing. Although I contacted Leadfeeder before the renewal date, my initial cancellation request was denied because it fell inside that notice window.
Leadfeeder should provide clear renewal reminders, prominently communicate cancellation deadlines, and allow reasonable flexibility when a customer makes a good-faith request before the actual renewal date. To the company’s credit, senior leadership later reviewed the situation and resolved it fairly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hi Eric,
thank you for the detailed feedback, and for sharing both sides of your experience. We're glad our VP of Customer Success was able to step in, take ownership, and resolve things fairly, that's the standard we want to hold ourselves to from the start, not just after something goes wrong. Your point on renewal reminders and clearer communication around the cancellation window is well taken, we've shared it with the team responsible for that process.
Glad Leadfeeder was still useful for surfacing companies your sales team could research and prioritize alongside your other tools.
