What do you like best about Layer?

Layer customer service is fast and the engineers provide quick feedback on bugs. The documentation for all platforms is pretty straight forward and easy to implement. It is available for all ios, android and web. It supports mime types for custom message announcements. They also have staging environments for testing your product. What do you dislike about Layer?

We are habing some issues with authenticating and de-authenticating user with layer service for android sdk. The sdk is also missing some callback features for loading messages and conversation and the developer has to implement themselves or forking the code from git. Recommendations to others considering Layer:

Layer is easy to implement at least for mobile and is used by a lot of other companies as well. When we were deciding, Twilio was also on top of list. We chose Layer since it is focused on rich messaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Layer solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using layer for implementing mobile and web messaging service for our company. So far it is working great. We are still thing around how to implement carousel within messaging, but we will get there soon. Layer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
