## LastPass Reviews
 ### 1. Overall good experience, left initially for price, won't look back.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian T. | Sales & Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Last Pass is very user-friendly, intuitive to use, and works on all platforms (web, extension, app, mobile, etc.). We used this daily for our business, and found it to be a very useful tool.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Cost is the largest barrier for LastPass for our org. Shared content, access, and additional items like secure notes, admin controls, etc came at a premium and made the platform cost prohibitive for the level of service.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We intended to use it for Password Management and shared access

 ### 2. LastPass dependent

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2016

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I no longer significantly care when I have to create yet another login and password. LastPass does the job of managing passwords very well.
+I like the secure notes for a variety of secret info (lock combinations, etc).
+The Form Fill works great for online shopping.
+Sharing passwords between users is great (you can share and keep the password secret, or you can share a site and show the password).
+I have found on my phone that you can actually browse to the vault and look up a password when you need it, but not as smooth as auto login with the add-on loaded on a computer.
+The LastPass icon and dropdown in the password field is clever.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

- I no longer use it due to some security scandals and how LastPass responded.
- Sometimes it does not notice when a new login is created - and I must manually say Add Site, and then make sure the username and password are stored.
-For some sites auto login does not work. Sometimes even right click and select the site and nothing appears.
- The appearance of the vault has changed in some browsers, and the text has gotten too big, I prefer a smaller detail view like the older look.
- On a desktop without the browser add-on loaded it is manageable, but not as pleasant.

**Recommendations to others considering LastPass:**

You will become dependent on it, but that is rarely a problem, because 1) it is way better than the alternative, and 2) if you are logging in you are usually online (so you can manually look up a password).

Highly recommended service.

One thing they should add is the ability to add secondary passwords to certain logins. Would make it easier to share an account with a spouse - but keep some work logins off limits.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I store business and personal passwords on it. I'm using it to store company info in a secure environment. would like to see password managers become the norm, and influence site and software design.

 ### 3. Great Security and Features, but Folder Management Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott E. | VP Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Security, feature set, usability. Security dashboard is also a very useful tool to monitor security

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

folder management isn't always the easiest

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling me to use secure passwords and never duplicate them across accounts.

 ### 4. Great Software: Easy to Use, Performs Well, and Has a Free Version

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The software was very good and something I used for all services every day — easy to use and it worked well. I also appreciated that there is a free version available, so there’s no need to purchase the full version unless you want to.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Unfortunately, the press about the breach they suffered a while back put me off using the product. This is unfortunate. Although no actual passwords were accessed in the breach, it made me lose faith in the product so I moved away.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of managing passwords between multiple services and ensuring they are safe, as well as allowing simple MFA right from my machine.

 ### 5. Very good "connected solution" for PWD management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nico A. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

LP can be very well integrated into a "networked environment." Logins and passwords can be "rights-controlled" and shared with colleagues.

Additionally, the use across different devices and OS (iPhone, iPad, PCs) and browsers is very practical.

The management of all kinds of information (credit cards, bank accounts, etc.) strongly complements the range of functions.

I use LP (multiple times) daily.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Sometimes the integration with different web browsers is not error-free, especially in the Apple environment. The fact that you cannot quickly copy from messages (on mobile devices) and paste elsewhere sometimes makes work more difficult.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Distribution of password to different users (with different permissions). LP solves this...

 ### 6. Secure, easy to use & safe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mo F. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Works seamlessly with all extensions on every browser. Easy to manage shared passwords across groups, and very simple to share and retract access to passwords.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

There were some members of our organisation which experienced issues when using the extension on a remote server. This was difficult to pin point the issue and caused some disruption to the business.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Quick access to sites.
- Easy management of passwords between members of the organisation.
- No password lost, if you're an admin.
- Easy to share passwords when a member of the organisation leaves the company.

 ### 7. Great Customization and Storage, but Autofill Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Stores a large amount of info apart from passwords. Has categorizations and preset data boxes to store information. Fields can be customized and set in specific custom folders.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Autofill occasionally selects the incorrect login information, and it can also be bothersome with frequent pop-ups while autofilling.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In today's world, LastPass makes it much easier to keep all my login information secure without the need to enter credentials manually.

 ### 8. Last Pass is a life saver for people who forget their passwords

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian H. | Owner/Operator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I like that I can log in to LastPass in order to log into all of my accounts. I don't have to remember multiple passwords anymore.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

There are times where I need to go in and update passwords manually because I missed the update screen on my Google plug-in

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are many companies who require password changes on a regular basis. LastPass makes it easy because I don't even have to come up with a new password. LastPass does it for me, and I don't even need to know what the new password is.

 ### 9. Most reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Virginia M. | Bookkeeper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Last pass is easy to use and dependable for security

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

I havent had a downside yet and I have been using the product for 8 years

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can never remeber all my passwords and now I can just remember one. Also it is a necessity when I work with multiple clients who have many programs each.

 ### 10. Worths each cent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petros M. | Hotels Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Ease of Use, mobile, stable, application fro mobile

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

nothing to report, the software is one of the best on this category

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

updating the usernaes and passwords may occur disorders

 ### 11. Unreliable apps, and multiple instances of data corruption

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob A. | Chief Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

LastPass, when it is working well, works very well. It makes it easy to create new logins, use existing logins, and share logins with others.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The LastPass software is unreliable on Mac and iPhone. It often breaks for months at a time before an update is released.

My team has had several instances of the data for an entire account becoming corrupted. LastPass support was unable to restore the lost data, making it impossible to log into accounts.

MFA support is limited for LastPass, requiring the use of a secondary MFA app.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass allows the members of my team to securely share logins. It also allows us to easily get into work accounts after an employee is terminated by taking over their LastPass data.

 ### 12. Great Security and Ease of Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele H. | CSM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

the whole function in general, security, easy to use

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

It would be nice to have the desktop app back, but i can understand not having it available. It would also be nice to have ai sort my passwords into folders

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could not remember my passwords if I tried, it is helpful to have this product for my personal life as well as professional.

 ### 13. Great Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I really like the phone app, it's a godsend.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Very few complaints to be fair. I've never had an issue.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the owner of a small business I have to have lots of suppliers and customers sites available quickly to me, and Last Pass works seamlessly across all my devices.

 ### 14. Incredible for volunteer organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon E. | Assistant Director of Technology; Board Of Directors; Project Manager, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I love that my non-profit organization can share access via a business account. We have security and piece of mind to safely and easily keep our accounts secure even though our team is scattered throughout multiple regions and time zones.

I also love that this was easy to set up and implement for a number of NON-TECHNICAL users. If they need access to a given account/password, we can quickly move that username/password to a shared folder for them. This was extremely easy to integrate to our workflow.

I'm also a huge fan of the password generator, which immediately adds the suggested password to my vault when I update a password or create a new count.

Finally, the ability to share (and quickly update) a stored credit card number for business use is something that I love. I use it at least once a week, and it was super easy for our staff to update the CC number when a new card was received without having to reach out to a number of volunteers (again, across the country) that all need to have access to the card number on demand.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

I have not encountered anything I dislike yet. We haven't yet had an issue where someone's shared access needs revoked and their access immediately deleted. That could be a potential pain point, but I'm not entirely sure.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that LastPass solves for us is sharing multiple accounts and passwords (for things like our company zoom account or social media logins) for several people across the nation. This is extremely convenient and WAY more secure than a google doc or some other less secure solution.

 ### 15. LastPass Cyrpto's

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Don M. | Owener, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I like the LastPass Dashboard with side panel view and the quick write in category for item listing. I also like the 2FA security key option, other password programs don't offer these options.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

I would like to see LastPass develop a crypto wallet option for each of the most popular crypto's like BTC-XRP-XLM-DOGE-ETH and SHIBA-INU...If LastPass wants to control their password market then a crypto wallet option with the best security will do it for them.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass benefits me in that all I have to do is enter the info and passwords and I don't need to worry about remembering where I stored my info, it's stored in LastPass when I need it.

 ### 16. Excellent Password Manager for personal and business use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I use the LastPass everyday of my life. Easy way of generating and storing passwords for me and my family. Product is so easy to use so that all in my family can use it and it is easy to share across. I use it for my business passwords and credit cards as well. Software works for my PC and mobile phone.
Implementation and integration is as easy as downloading extension for browser and for mobile just downloading the app. Mobile software accepts fingerprint login which speeds up login.
My belief in their product is well deserved as I have been using it safely for many years and have been buying a family subscription each year. Best of all is that l have only one password(passphrase) to pass on if anything happens to me.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Possible security risk in that if anyone finds out what my Master password is they will have access to everything. However that onus lies on me, the risk would have been just as great if I was not using Lastpass. I understand there were breaches before, but the thieves on were able to farm emails.
PC logins can be a bit of a slog as you have to login, then email verify, login again and then authenticate on mobile app, but is alleviated with trust for 30 days option.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing me random secure passwords for sites that are not all the same.
I don't have to remember these and use the management software to have me login.
It also stores notes and credit card details that can be auto filled.
Sharing specific passwords to family members.
One password/passphrase to remember and pass on after death.

 ### 17. A password manager you can trust to make your online life a whole lot easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syed F. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

LastPass securely stores and autofills my passwords for me on any device and platform. For instance, I managed over 50 login credentials for work and personal accounts with it, and the password generator feature made creating strong, unique passwords a breeze. The secure sharing feature rocks for sharing access with trusted team members, too.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Free version is very limited (especially on mobile devices) and premium plans seem pricey for individual users. The interface is practical, but it could be more modern and intuitive.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass has simplified and secured the management of my online accounts. It continues to help organize and secure my passwords across a massive website migration, and the peace of mind it brings is priceless. If you want to take your online security to the next level, this is a must-have tool.

 ### 18. Lastpass experience

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Lastpass is easy to use. Not many pages to browse to use.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Lastpass is not as professional as some other password programs.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lastpass is using one click enter.

 ### 19. The last password you'll ever need...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2019

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

It works across platforms and is a big help on mobile devices. The fact that items like credit cards, wireless access point passwords, and other sensitive data can be stored and easily and readily form-filled is a tremendous positive. I love using LastPass enterprise so much that I have referred several companies to it in the last couple years. I have personally be using it since approximately 2013 from when I was introduced to it from a former employer. Back then, Enterprise, Teams, or Families wasn't even an option. I believe there was only the "free" and "premium" versions to use and the price was well under $10/user/year. (That's saying something as the price is now ~$24/user/year) I also got my wife to rely on it every day and have for a couple years now. We're using the LP Families.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

It seems the Authenticator app only allows for the one-tap on one account. I have personal and enterprise. Only the enterprise works this way. Otherwise I have to use the text code.

**Recommendations to others considering LastPass:**

Use the added features to your benefit.. things like AD integration, G Suite integrations, SSO, MFA, etc..

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping company and personal information secured the way it should be. Drastically streamlines the day-to-day logging into multiple sites.

 ### 20. Makes Pasword Management a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KentJonesProductions . | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

There are a lot of things I like about LastPass including:
Quickfill of passwords at saved login pages
Automatic learning of new passwords as you log in for the first time
Secure auto-fill of credit card info when making purchases
Options to have it create secure passwords to your specifications (number of characters, types of characters, etc.)
Checks for re-used passwords and gives you options to update them
One Master Password to remember to grant you access to your vault
LastPass has allowed me to stop thumbing through pages of passwords I kept in a file folder whenever I needed to log in somewhere. After all, it's very risky always to have the same password that's easy to remember for every site you use. That was always a huge frustration but now I have different passwords for everything, I don't have to remember them, they are secure, and I can use them easily. Life is easier with LastPass.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

On rare occasions, the auto-fill is slow but I think that is more a problem with the browser and/or internet being sluggish at that moment.
On the mobile app, I need to enter my Master Password more often than I would like. I use facial recognition but still have to use the MP about every 4-5 days. I think it is supposed to be every month so I don't know what is wrong. But I appreciate the role the MP plays so I don't complain much.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using LastPass lets me get rid of the folder full of pages of passwords. It is a lot more convenient and eliminates the frustration of finding and using passwords.

 ### 21. Lastpass - keeps & protects your passwords with ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian John Z. | Lending Support Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

it auto populates passwords and it meets the minimum password requirements

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

sometimes passwords being generate are too long and exceeds the maximum character required

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we are logging in with multiple portals, LastPass gives us the best way to manage our passwords with sense of security.

 ### 22. Couldn't manage without it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Passwords are securely stored and available on multiple devices so I never have to remember or reuse a PW. I like the feature that creates a pop-up asking to add a new site and PW to LastPass, and the ability to generate a strong PW that NOBODY could guess, and I could never remember!

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

It's difficult to share LastPass with my wife without giving her access to ALL of my accounts. We used to use the Free version for her (her use is limited) but couldn't use it on her laptop and iPad both because changing devices was limited to just a few changes.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could never remember all my passwords, and writing them down isn't a viable option. LastPass encrypted communication gives me a way to securely manage PWs so I don't have to use the same PW multiple times.

 ### 23. Extensive feature set and reliable, marred by bugs and performance issues with workarounds

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

LastPass is extremely helpful for safeguarding secrets and coordinating shared accounts across our small business IT department. The vault search features are extensive and reliable. The Edge extension in particular has worked on every site thrown at it. The history feature prevents losing credentials from mistakes. Being able to share between employees in our department has been a massive boon. We use this constantly every day. Setup and implementation was trivial as well.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

3 major bugs/issues are present. Going by support forum posts the issues have been reported many times by many users over the years and are still not resolved.

While they all have workarounds, the delay they impose could be problematic in time-sensitive situations, especially when experiencing them for the first time.

The vault takes a VERY long time to load if you have many entries. Adding a new entry also takes a very long time from clicking the "Plus" button to when the window appears. This can be mostly bypassed by searching within the extension dropdown itself and opening the entry you need directly.

Sometimes the clipboard integration of the extension completely breaks. This can be fixed by toggling the extension being active in private windows on/off. This persists through reboots and affects non-private windows even if you never use private windows.

Sometimes the extension logs you out for no reason. The login screen loop-refreshes every 10 seconds or so and takes 2 minutes to load again before you can try again. This state can also trigger an account lockout which requires you to wait 30 minutes or contact an admin in your organization. Sometimes the login screen loop can be resolved by restarting the browser, sometimes not.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Credential security for hundreds of devices and sites. Coordinating shared accounts for various departments. Secure shared notes on infrastructure.

 ### 24. LastPass, What an awesome product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Managed Services Engineer/Systems Administrator - Healthcare IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Ease of Use, Ease of Implementation, Ease of Integration. It is easy to input new passwords, cards, and other pertinent information for use on a daily basis. The cost is so affordable. It's very easy to integrate into browsers, and mobile devices is unmatched. Definitely would recommend 10/10. Has been my companion and friend in this digital age of uncertainty and where security is everything.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The browser and app fill feature could use a little work as it has some glitches but they aren't major and I'm happy to work through them

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps me from having to remember passwords, and keeps me from having to think of new passwords when they are generated for me with ease.

 ### 25. Easy to use secure password consolidation tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erich W. | Managing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

LastPass is an easy to use platform to consolidate all my passwords and site logins. I like that it is secure with 2-factor authentication and that I can use Last Pass across browsers and computers. I also appreciate that I can separate corporate and private passwords but still operate seamlessly across both sets of credentials.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Setting up the browser extension can feel like an extra step, especially when I work/live across multiple computers. Corporate constraints from some of my clients can limit my use of LastPass on other systems and as I become more reliant on LastPass I remember fewer passwords which can make operating on systems external to my LastPass environment harder.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use LastPass to securely consolidate site links and passwords for my corporate management and private web use. This makes it easy to start my corporate management tasks from one location (e.g., quarterly tax payments, invoicing in web-based systems, various reporting tasks) and means I don't have to store passwords physically or in a less secure manner.

 ### 26. It's a good product when it works.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The abundance of features is nice. Especially all of the auto-fill options.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The darkweb monitoring is next to useless and would be more useful if it provided more information than just "your email address has been discovered" without any more information than that.
When an update is pushed to the browser extension, it seems to break it more times than work on the first try. This will result in the extension not working anymore. Supports go to response is uninstall and reinstall the extension which does usually fix it. It's just a pain when doing it for a corporation.
It's also concerning that they've been hacked twice.
Some function seems like they're just done to be able to check a box saying they offer it rather than an actual functioning element.
It would be nice for the API to be able to read and write to secrets.
I dislike how frequently they break their product with updates.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass helps keep passwords out of browsers and centrally manageable when onboarding and offboarding users.

 ### 27. Takes the pain out of password security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lewis K. | Network Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Being able to automatically have passwords remembered and filled out using multiple platforms.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The only thing I have found is trying to remember the Master Password I have se.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No longer need to have complex passwords written on paper. Much safer/secure method of password administration.

 ### 28. Easy to Use and Great for Sharing Client Info Internally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Ease of use - ability to share client info internally

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Nothing, it solves my pw issues and is so completely secure!

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multitude of passwords for clients

 ### 29. Overpriced & SCAMMERS - They REFUSE to cancel my subscription

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cathryn W. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

NOTHING. Password sharing does not always work.
Price gouging. Keep increasing the price "so they can improve the product". What is there to improve? We just want our passwords kept safe. Nothing more.
Also, there is no way to cancel the subscription on their APP.
I have put in a request to CANCEL the subscription, and they HAVE TOTALLY IGNORED ME. I have sent a reminder, and I am betting they are just going to take the money out of my credit card.
Costs have trippled since I first subscribed. They have not added a single extra meaningful feature.
What a ripoff

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Total ripoff
Prices keep soaring
Supposedly they are "improving" the product. Total rubbish.
There is no way to cancel the subscription in the APP. I have asked ages ago that I want this to be cancelled, they have not bothered to reply
Customer support is non-existant. I tried to get them to help me with other issues in the past and I just gave up, because they never fixed my problems or concerns
Money grabbers
Much better, less costly password apps out there

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not benefitting me at all
Giving me EXTREME anxiety because of the outrageous cost and no way to cancel
Despite having 4 licences, only 3 licences worked. When others tried to use it, they kept saying "it should work". Basically they charged for a licence that did not work. They never fixed the problem

 ### 30. I recommend the platform regularly

**Reviewed by:** Adam F. | Technical Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Awesome platform, has revolutionized the security for all of our client log ins and passwords.
The administration of access control for our employees is so powerful and yet intuitively simple.
Recommend this highly.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The set up and education process for use of the platform is quite a detailed and lengthy process.
This is unavoidable, given the power of the software.
Invest your time in setting it up properly - you will be rewarded.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security and employee administration of our client passwords

 ### 31. Life is Easier with LastPass

**Reviewed by:** Brenda T. | Practice Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

It is so much easier to create secure passwords and have them stored securely. I use it daily and sleep a lot better knowing access to my various accounts is safe.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Sometimes it is cumbersome logging into my master account, but it is worth it to have all my data safely stored.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to keep a Word document with all my passwords, which was very unsafe, especially when my system got hacked. Now I have unique passwords for each account.

 ### 32. LastPass Does What it Says

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

It just works, its seemless with browser extension and adding new password when we login or create new accounts. Sharing with team is easy and overall admin effort is quite low. Pricing wise it is at sweet spot, not very expensive but at the same time not cheapest.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

there should be some app to fill passwords on desktop apps, something that I had liked about our previous solution.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies password management across company. Everyone using lastpass to keep all company passwods so that when someone leaves we do not have to scramble through passwords that they managed. Also keeping MFA of shared account in lastpass makes it easy to manage shared accounts.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

LastPass is one of those "set it and forget it" systems I love. It works perfectly to keep your passwords secure and you never have to remember your passwords again, since it does everything for you.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

There is some overlap with other applications like Apple Passwords and the browser password management.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I started using LastPass I incresed my security and I have never had to recover my password in systems and apps because I LastPass remembers all passwords for me.

 ### 39. Efficient, Secure, and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathaniel H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2024

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

I’ve been using LastPass for several years to manage both personal and staff passwords. Its password generation and storage capabilities have consistently delivered a great experience. The platform is intuitive and works seamlessly across devices. Additionally, the 2FA functionality provides a robust layer of security, which I greatly value. The business edition’s inclusion of token generation functionality is another standout feature that sets it apart from other solutions.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The Android app is helpful but somewhat limited due to Android OS restrictions and older grandfathered features.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LastPass has streamlined password management for both personal and professional use. It eliminates the need to remember or manually manage complex passwords, significantly enhancing security across our accounts. For our team, LastPass simplifies sharing credentials securely and ensures compliance with password policies. The 2FA integration and business edition’s token generation functionality add extra layers of security, reducing the risk of unauthorized access. Overall, it saves time, boosts productivity, and provides peace of mind by keeping our data safe and organized.

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

What I like best about LastPass is that it securely stores and manages passwords across multiple clients, making my workflow more efficient. Features like password sharing, autofill, and multi-factor authentication are valuable given my responsibilities.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

What I dislike about LastPass is that it has had data breaches in the past, which could be a red flag given your work with sensitive financial information. If you manage multiple client accounts, LastPass’s sharing system might not be as seamless as you'd like

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer G. | IT SYSTEMS ANAYLST, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Last Pass is a great password manager tool for a busy IT department or any department as a matter of fact. Have passwords all over the place? Have passwords on an unsecure spread sheet? Look no further. The nice part about Last Pass is it keeps track and updates the passwords as you go. I could not do my job without it. We also use secure notes and credit card storage for our corperate credit cards.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

There really no obvious downside to using Last Pass. I will say sometimes editing a secure note or a passwrd can be tricky especially if its shared by another person, which then forces your to recreate the entry so that you can edit it on your own.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Last Pass solves many problems, especially if someone leaves the company, we can recover password vaults easily and reassign them to another person covering that role.

 ### 47. Indispensible security and productivity tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor G. | CEO, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

LastPass makes creating and storing secure passwords for all your sites across multiple devices easy. I have hundreds of passwords and this isn't easy to do otherwise. Using the business plan, I can share sensitive passwords with members of my team. The business plan also includes a free family plan.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

The admin section is clunky. Signing in on a new device can take a while but I suppose that is for the best.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing and using a large number of secure passwords. Creating secure passwords. Sharing passwords selectively with my team. Generating 2FA codes.

 ### 48. When any s/w provider deprecates existing features to charge subscription -- avoid them

**Reviewed by:** Surya N. | Fractional CMO, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

Everything in the free plan was great. Across device syncs. Good auto login systems

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Bad management - they removed existing features and put that in their paid plans - this essentially tells everyone they have a paucity of ideas and will charge you for features that were free.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You want to ensure that you don't re-use any passwords while maintaining complexity of passwords.
Dual Auth is great and free.
Biometric auth is great
You can take your passwords and notes with you across devices.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave R. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2025

**What do you like best about LastPass?**

The energy and time wasted creating and remembering passwords is effectively eliminated. Sharing passwords between family members or co-workers is a breeze... no more post-it notes or emails with sensitive information floating around. I use LastPass 20+ times a day.

**What do you dislike about LastPass?**

Some websites cannot integrate the single sign-on function well, especially those with two-factor login or multiple login screens.

**What problems is LastPass solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing passwords between employees for group accounts (e.g. Accounts Payable) is excellent. Also sharing secure notes (e.g. company credit card and account numbers) is an excellent tool. Adopting LastPass has also changed our culture of security and forcing adoption with less pain.
