I have used multiple LIMS systems during my career in pharmaceuticals, many of which felt overly complex, difficult to maintain, and cumbersome. LabHQ defies the stereotype by providing an intuitive, user-friendly environment. From a quality and compliance perspective, the system has helped us improve sample traceability and increase efficiency. One limitation is that the older LabHQ version we are currently using does not have direct integration with other systems such as Chromeleon. However, we are currently upgrading to the latest LabHQ version which will support imports from CSV and XLS allow Chromeleon reports to be used. Also, the system can occasionally be slightly slower when generating complex or large reports. Searching for jobs submitted into the system is generally easy and efficient; however, locating specific samples or batches can sometimes be more challenging. In addition, the platform does not yet have barcode generation capabilities, which would further improve sample traceability and laboratory efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
