What do you like best about Kudos?

Kudos is a great tool for boosting morale and helping people feel genuinely appreciated. It makes recognition feel simple and meaningful. Kudos helps people know that their hard work is being seen. Not only are the words super kind, you also get money! It's a win/win. We've been using Kudos employee recognition for years and have no intention of stopping! What do you dislike about Kudos?

The downside of using Kudos is probably similar to the downside of having employee of the month. Some people may get more recognition than others, which might ignite some negative or jealous feelings. For Kudos to thrive at a company everyone has to take it seriously and not only send Kudos to their closest friends. I have noticed that my Kudos glitches when I use the website through safari. It gets very laggy when I try to type long messages and will completely freeze when I try to add a GIF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?

I think Kudos is a great tool to bridge the gap between employees. It helps different staff feel more connected to staff they don't interact with on a regular basis. Being in an admin position, I see how important it is for recognition to be given. Positive reinforcement of desired behaviors is known to increase positive behaviors, so if I see an employee going above and beyond and they have a great attitude while doing it, I'll give them Kudos in hopes that other employees will see them and know what the expectations are.
