"Streamlined Dashboard Creation, Manual Compliance Challenges"

What do you like best about KPI?

I value the KPI platform's flexible custom template builder and its robust scheduled report distribution, which are crucial for our financial firm. I can quickly assemble dashboards to track US equity performance for executives and set recurring report sends without needing extensive scripting. The data-source connectors significantly simplify pulling our core investment metrics, removing tedious copy-paste work from spreadsheets. This feature is incredibly helpful as I can spin up new views quickly when leadership needs updated metrics fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about KPI?

The KPI platform’s access permission controls are somewhat clunky for our Dallas financial team. It lacks native pre‑formatted exports matching US financial disclosure standards, so I need to reformat files by hand. Occasionally, one of our database connectors suffers sync delays during peak business hours. I have to double‑validate every metric before sharing dashboards, adding extra work to stay compliant with firm privacy and disclosure policies. I would like to see role‑based permission sets tailored for financial firms and built‑in export templates aligned with US financial disclosure rules at our Dallas firm. Better alerting for broken data source connectors would also help us catch sync delays early. Right now I manually log connector failures and rework exported files, which adds extra overhead every time we prepare dashboards for executives and client advisory deliverables.
