The performance improvement was immediately noticeable after switching to Kinsta, thanks to the integrated Cloudflare CDN. My GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed scores improved dramatically, which was exactly what I had hoped for. The APM tool and New Relic integrations offer excellent monitoring capabilities.
The dashboard is well designed with useful features like the search-and-replace function, which saves considerable time during migrations and updates. The database studio is intuitive, and I appreciate the password protection options for staging sites. DevKinsta is a nice extra for local development.
Unlike WP Engine, Kinsta offers a true 30-day trial without requiring an annual prepayment, which shows confidence in their product. For European customers like me, their compliance with data protection regulations is excellent - they are certified for the Data Privacy Framework and offer excellent privacy policies and a data processing agreement. The implementation of the Redis cache is really expensive at €100 per month, which seems excessive for a standard feature. The prices for backups are also high, making these essential functions feel more like costly add-ons rather than included services.
While the TTFB performance is acceptable, it could be faster given Kinsta's premium positioning and pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
