What do you like best about Kentico?

Xperience by Kentico is an easy to use DXP for editors, flexible in development, and provides a very balanced feature set for the mid-market positioning of it's annual subscription.

We have delivered sites in an agile manner, utilising the open API for ease of integration with services such as Cloudinary DAM and MS Dynamics CRM (to push contact data into the CRM instance).

AI tools have been used by developers to assist with development velocity via KentiCopilot and the MVP server. Content editors have benefitted by speeding up their editorial tasks within the administration area, AIRA is a great help for them. In depth support is available from various sources, including great online courses which many of the team have taken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kentico?

Some expected features for a DXP are still on the roadmap, but these should be delivered within the next 6 months such as A/B testing and multi-lingual forms. Performance can be dependent on creating custom code to ensure caching is implemented to meet your requirements.

The SaaS service is developing and is now more complete than when we first delivered Xperience sites. The deployments have taken some time in the past but we have seen an improvement in deployment speed since the Zero Downtime Deployment enhancement was released. We would caution potential customers on the speed of the deployment rollbacks as this is still an issue and has caused some downtime.

There is still incomplete support for the Lucene.Net search engine, we would advise potential customers to utilise Microsoft AI Search as this integrates without the additional configuration required for Lucene.Net Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kentico solving and how is that benefiting you?

The flexible model for integrations means we use Xperience by Kentico as a composable DXP as we have many existing service integrations such as for SendGrid. For those potential customers who don't have existing service Xperience provides can easily deploy the internal features, increasing their digital maturity without going out to market to procure new services. This results in simpler and faster adoption of aspects such as personalisation or even AI implementation.

The open architecture means that external technical integrations can be implemented easily, often within a single sprint rather than via a lengthy development project as with other CMS platforms.

We have now utilised the MVP server, KentiCopilot and Claude to build/deliver Xperience sites which demonstrates the DXPs flexibility and solves the issue of speed to delivery which existed within the older versions of Xperience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
