I was able to learn new customer service skills in a Lab setting. I worked with a team at a patient service center collecting patient information and helping with billing inquiry. Also collecting payments for past due debt, making deposits and recording payments and doing a daily closeout. The supervisor and team were enjoyable to work with. It was a busy fast paced office. The most difficult part of the job was talking to patients about an old debt.
