The strongest aspect of Jotform Workflows in my evaluation was the ability to turn a detailed process description into a visual, multi-stage workflow. I created a payment-exception review design with an intake form, an AI-assisted analysis step, four routing paths, evidence validation, human approvals, and resolution notifications. Seeing these elements connected on one canvas made the intended process easier to inspect than managing each step as a separate form or instruction. Workflow Copilot also helped identify gaps in the routing logic and clarify the intended outcomes for manual investigation. I particularly appreciated being able to refine an existing workflow conversationally rather than rebuilding the entire structure from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main limitation I encountered was the difference between generating a complex workflow and ensuring that its logic was correctly configured. The AI analysis step returned a free-text response, while the routing conditions did not reliably evaluate a structured risk classification. I therefore had to keep the routing manual rather than treat the workflow as an operational AI risk-scoring system. Workflow Copilot also encountered an E425 error while attempting to add or confirm a human resolution review. Although the corresponding element later appeared on the canvas, I still needed to distinguish its visible presence from verified execution. More reliable automated edits and clearer validation of conditions would make complex workflows easier to refine with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
