**What do you like best about Joan?**

I like using Joan for room scheduling and visitor management. I find it incredibly useful for quickly checking room availability for spontaneous meetings and seeing when a room is next available. The visitor management feature is great for streamlining office visits by pre-registering guests. I appreciate the ease of installation and implementation, making it quick to onboard and set up devices for customers efficiently. The customer support is very friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist. I also find the Joan devices to be very cost-effective, maintaining optimal battery consumption even after more than seven years in use. For the initial setup, it was a breeze to create the user for the portal, set up the service account, and pair devices with rooms.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

Multi-tenant buildings don't work well with Visitor Management and some features like package drop-off are missing. Currently, there's just the option to connect one Microsoft tenant to the portal, and that's an issue for some of my customers.

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joan allows us to quickly see available rooms for short meetings and streamline visitor management by pre-registering guests, enhancing check-ins. However, multi-tenant support is limited, needing more flexibility, like a package drop-off feature.

I use Joan for room booking, and it's easy to set up. The devices are easy to configure by just pairing via the portal and doing basic configuration via a cable connection to a laptop. The initial setup was quite easy. I also like the good battery life — a full charge lasts an appreciable length of time, which takes away the hassle of having to always charge them up.

I use Joan for room booking. It eliminates the need for a bespoke system for meeting room booking and gives visibility of events in a room. It's easy to configure by pairing via the portal, and a full charge lasts a good length of time, taking away the hassle of always charging them.

The UI/UX is easy to use and intuitive. It integrates smoothly with our existing Office 365 environment, which made adoption straightforward. Because it’s cloud-based, we don’t run into performance, maintenance, or upgrade issues. Pricing is very competitive, and the support and onboarding experience was excellent.

Joan meets all of our requirements, so there’s really nothing to dislike.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

I like that Joan is a very user-friendly software and application, making it easy to use. The onboarding process was quite easy, and the integration with Azure is very smooth for both IT administrators and end users. We use some Joan devices for booking in Teams rooms. The initial setup was straightforward with everything well-documented, simplifying the floor plan setup and booking of the office seats, as well as scheduling with tablets.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

I don't have anything specific to say about Joan at this time; everything is working fine. Maybe there could be an improvement on the mobile app, but it's not frequently used by the users. Maybe there could be an option for automatic login or check-in or something like that.

We use Joan to reserve office seats with a floor plan, choosing our own seat according to our shift.

Easy user interface and user experience is quick and straightforward. Visually represented well.

Nothing major, but the navigation on the office map could be improved a bit. Right now you have to click the arrow buttons to move around the office layout; it would be nicer if you could also click and drag to navigate.

We’re currently renovating the office, and seating is limited, so this helps us manage the space more efficiently. I don’t need to worry about not having a seat at the office and I can see where my other colleagues will sit.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

I like Joan for meeting room calendar display and booking. It allows me to see meeting room availability right on the door, and it helps a lot with blocking out rooms during unplanned meetings. I appreciate Joan's long battery life on displays, which lasts around 8 weeks or more, and the simple magnetic display mounts. The infrequent need for battery charging and the ability to easily detach and reattach displays are really convenient for me. Also, Joan integrates well with MS 365 calendar, and the setup process was simple enough.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

Room Display is slightly bulky but i expect that comes with the long battery life

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joan makes meeting room availability visible on doors, preventing double booking. Its long battery life means infrequent charging, and the magnetic mounts make it easy to manage.

I like how Joan allows us to see if a room is free without disturbing a potentially ongoing meeting. Its reliable syncing with calendars, picking up new meetings as soon as they are added, has been really beneficial. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the guides on their website and their supportive team always being on hand to help.

The battery life when not on the POE mounts could be improved, as well as the size of the Joan Pro 6. The price of the POE mounts could be reduced.

The webapp version is not as good as the mobile version, I also don't like the overview of where everyone is sitting, i would like to have the floor plan as main screen

I like that with Joan, we can reserve through the app, which is really easy. I just open the app and make reservations with one click. It's especially convenient for those times when I forget to reserve because I can do it quickly. Also, the initial setup was smooth after meeting with the representative.

I don't like that it's difficult to set up recurring meetings, like adding a weekly meeting to the system.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

Joan is super easy to implement with your existing infrastructure (Google, Microsoft etc). It just works, with a ton of useful features  for both admins and end users. The devices are used on a daily basis across our offices, both for pre-booked meetings and on the spot meetings. The devices are super easy to use and don't require lots of training and engagement with your users. 


The support team are incredibly helpful - we had a couple of teething issues, but they were on hand and assisted with fast resolutions!

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

Not a great deal - it's good that you can buy the devices but have to pay an annual license cost. It'd also be great if Joan gave you a more straightforward pricing tier. Its annoying that we don't get device specific customisation, as that's a tier (and price point!) up.

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved the issue of people not knowing when meeting rooms are free or booked. Paired with the Power over Ethernet mounts, it gives a clear indication of meeting room availability. Additionally, we are going to be enabling the check in feature, which will assist with freeing up meeting space further.

Poor customer service. Constant pricing changes and more complex backend that has a poor ui/ux.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

For how well it intergrates with our existing outlook calendar and for multiple users then we are really pleased. The unit arrived quickly, looks really good (nice having our logo on it) and the customer service video call I required was really helpful in getting everything working for our needs. We only have one meeting room to connect at the moment but it will get used frequently and having the scope to add more later could be really helpful as our business grows.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

Not knowing the unit was coming from outside the UK meant we had to pay a large fee to receive it from the courier which we were not expecting. We also needed out IT contractors to sort out the calendar system as this was not something we had permissions for so there was a lot of time spent trying to go through all the instructions on the website. Once we had a video call with the sales team though we were quickly up and running and the system now is easy to use.

We have a new portable meeting both installed in our new office and needed a way to give all our staff access to book it out

**What do you like best about Joan?**

Since we have installed Joan room booking system, to fight for a meeting room is over, and with a large room with multipe doors, we have a unit each point of entry and with the pro model, this includes a traffic light system to show from afar that its in use with the red glowing orb around the unit.
It was quite stright forward to get it configured and working, very little information had to be given to users.
The quick book feature of walk ups is conveniant.
Have had an issue with one unit, and was convinised that this was faulty and would require replacement, but after a quick remote session with a tech they not only got it running, got the software updated and stayed online until i was happy it was all working.
This is a system that is used all the time now.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

If a meeting finishes early, you are not able to show that the room has been released for use, but being able to extend a meeting from either the 365 calender or from the unit itself is also a good feature.
Screen and status lights on the pro model could be a little brighter.

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The fight for a meeting room is over, everyone can see at a glance if a room is about to be used or if it is really free. 
This reduses frustration and helps with know whats ready when.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

I just need a basic scheduler outside of one conference room. It is simple to use by walking up and scheduling the meeting right there from the screen.  It was fairly easy to set up with the help of the customer support team. I did have to call in one time, but they were able to answer my questions.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

The touch screen seems to be slow and lagging. We also had to buy an additional mounting bracket because the magnet wasn't strong enough.

This organizes the scheduling and booking of the conference room.  We can now avoid multiple people attempting to hold meetings at the same time.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

We really like the ease of use and how easy it was integrate into the companies flow. Our meeting interruptions have gone down drastically and employees are being more careful with how long meetings run, and if they know a meeting is going to take long they can look and see who's hosting the next meeting and can reach out to see if its okay that they take a little longer than expected.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

In the beginning had some trouble connecting to the internet. It would only connect to a 2.4GHz wifi and we only a 5GHz. So we had to get in contact with our internet provider and explain the situation and then after about a week of having Joan we were able to connect and start to use Joan.

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its helping with spontaneous meetings being decreased and taking up valuable time.

Joan has helped our staff memebers quicklu get up to speed on what rooms are available and efrotlessly book them.
The devices have aided productivuty in the office as well, by marking attendance and deleting any unattended events freeing resources for the people who are actually in the office.
The customer support team is very helpfula and quick to respond as well.

Someimes the devices are slow to respond, but usually a reconfiguration resolves the issue.

Helps our staff members know which rooms are booked and which rooms are available.
Allows us to check the usage and stats for meeting rooms.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

Joan is easy to set up, implement into our Outlook calendar, and install on our conference room sidelights. It is easy to schedule ad-hoc meetings on the tablet. And it was easy to add our company logo to the screen. The Joan customer service has been very helpful for the minimal issues we have had.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

The battery life is shorter than expected, lasting roughly 40-50 days even with sleep mode during non-business days/hours. Having to charge them can be a hassle and cause some downtime.

display of the office map could be improved, sometimes I do not receive the check-in reminder in the morning so I don't know if this means the booking is not done, also would be great to understand each of the areas (what differences are there other than team names)

**What do you like best about Joan?**

The best part I would like mention about the entire Joan system is its Management. We have migrated from Exchange On-Prem to Exchange Online last year and Jaon support helped me to migrate the system to the Cloud Connector. We got rid of the Ubuntu server where the On-prem connector and since then we don't have any issue. Just runs perfect, really easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

When we are setting up a device for the first time, the enrollment code doesn't pop up. We have to keep the device charged for more than one day.

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All the other users have the visibility of the next booking and they don't have to login to the Calendar booking. Also, if the room is vacant, users don't have to book on the Calendar but are able to immediately book on the device. And I forgot about to mention earlier about the Joan support. They are one of the best support team I have ever worked with. though the team is in a different geo location where we are, they have alway been flexible to work with Australian timezone.

**What do you like best about Joan?**

What I love about JOAN is that it's really easy to book your preferred spot without having to go through a lot of hassle.JOAN was a good resource to use while working at HAGER-Executive Consulting. It really made the work environment better by adding value. The initial setup was very easy due to its simplicity therefore there were no difficulties in getting started. The customer service is the best attribute of JOAN, they were very prompt in response to all queries resolved all problems instantly. And we frequently do use the product in the course of the day which already indicates the trust and comfortability of the product. From the extensive list of features, it steamlines all the possible areas of need, both the customer and the company as much as possible. And the fact how well the solution operates with the existing applications’ environment is particularly satisfying. It just gets the job done!

As an organisation that moved to a hot-desking model post-lockdown we needed a system to ensure our colleagues could book desks and see who was in the office and when.  Joan provides this for us with a really simple to use, user friendly interface.  We were able to roll the system out without the need for lengthy, complex training sessions which always helps.

No real downsides once people got used to using the system

We have more employees than desks so Joan helps us to manage team access and allows us to quickly see which desks are available on any given day and which of our collegaues are in the office.

I recently implemented the Joan 6 RE in my workplace, and I must say—it was incredibly simple to set up and use. This is not the first company where I have deployed Joan devices, and once again, the setup process was smooth and hassle-free.

The device is completely wireless, runs on a long-lasting rechargeable battery, and integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 and Google Calendar

easy using for everybody. the implementation is only one login with your gmailadresse. i dont know how much more features there are but for planning your office space and knowing which employees are at the office right now or the next days/week is very helpfull to coordinate yourself and get some important KPIs. the support is also very helpfull and easy to contact.

i dont know what else you can do at joan. but maybe if they would be even more functions/ feature that helps coordinate your team or give them more opportunities for using the tool :)

**What do you like best about Joan?**

I love how they mount so easily on the glass and have long lasting batteries eiliminating the need for messy cords. They're clean, nice looking and integrate easily to G-Suite.  When rooms are busy, they turn dark, making it easy to quickly identify which rooms are free for use, without the need to walk up and read which are avaialble. Customer support has been great, although they're based in EU, so you can't get an immediate response.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

Given that their customer service is based overseas, it takes a minute to get a response if you're needing support. They're super responsive and friendly, which has been great, despite a bit of a delay due to time zones.  We bought a couple of the devices via auction so getting them disconnected from the previous owner took a little doing, but uneventful once we got to that point. They're a little spendy, (devices + monthly subscription)  but I think will be worth it for the team.

Being able to quickly identify which rooms are free as well as to book on the fly has been a great addition to our office space.

We started using Joan when we moved into a new office in February. Our team grew from 8 people with a small huddle room to 16 people with one conference room and one huddle room, and having a system in place to monitor usage, send reminders (both to staff and guests) and help schedule spaces has been invaluable.

The battery dies before it is officially empty. we sometimes get a dead battery alert and as soon as we plug it in to charge it still has more than 50% battery left.

I like that the platform is also available in an App, not only on the desktop. The functions are easy to use and quite self-explanatory. I use it every day, but in less than a minute, actions are completed. I never had to contact the customer service for any issue, our Office Management Team could solve the problems.

The only things that could be improved are the time limit that is given to check in into our desks, would be nice if it could be customized too. Also, a longer period of reservation would be nice for people who are more frequently in the office, with options like "Every weekday except of Friday" , or "Every Thursday" e.g.

We have been using the Joan modules for about 5 years now and it works very well for us. It's easy to see if a space is booked, or you can book a space on the spot. We have 7 units in use right now.
Joan is easy to integrate with your Google calendar, easy for colleagues to use, and in terms of features has exactly what we need. Both for meetings and mini call booths for online meetings. We use it every day.

**What do you dislike about Joan?**

One disadvantage of Joan is that you have to turn on your 2.4ghz wifi network (5ghz does not work). Also, we often have the Joan crash when the battery is low instead of a “low battery notification”. This used to be different but has never worked out in recent months. When charging, it springs back on at some point and works again.

**What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joan has many features, but we only use it to reserve meeting rooms and mini callbooths for videocalls. It works perfectly for us.
The problem it solves for us is that we can immediately see if a room is in use, until when and what times further this day

first thing that comes to mind is how seamlessly it is integrated with our office systems, booking a desk or a meeting room is two clicks away.
i use it on a daily basis and let me tell you something, no app matches their ease of use.
