"Jitsu Transformations Made PII Stripping Easy Before ClickHouse"

What do you like best about Jitsu?

Jitsu’s transformation functions helped us strip PII in the pipeline before anything landed in ClickHouse. With our previous vendor, getting to the same point was a tedious process. It connects with all the required tools we are using for amplitude, google analytics, hotjar session replay as well as postgres and does it with lightning speed. What do you dislike about Jitsu?

There’s no native schema enforcement. We ended up writing a transformation function to handle it, and it works, but this really should be available as a toggle rather than something you have to piece together from a recipe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jitsu solving and how is that benefiting you?

I previously used Segment, where pricing is based on MTU (monthly tracked users). With hundreds of thousands of user events each month, we ended up paying a ton of money with Segment. With Jitsu, pricing is based on event volume, which helped us reduce our bill and save a lot on costs, while still being reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
