Being open-source gives us flexibility to self-host if needed for more control over data and privacy, which matters given some calls involve sensitive business discussions. Video and audio quality has been reliable for typical group sizes, and the one-click join via browser makes it easy for external participants to hop in without friction. Call quality and stability can degrade a bit with larger groups or less reliable internet connections, which becomes noticeable when several external participants join at once.
