I like how Jira lets me create branches and commits easily by copying and pasting commands in the terminal. The branch and commit naming functionality is especially useful to me. I can also filter tasks by the people they’re assigned to and quickly see where each task currently stands. The assignment feature helps me track both who a task is assigned to and who assigned it, which makes project management much clearer. Overall, these features make it convenient to branch code with a single tab and to keep track of tickets alongside their assigned branches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I’ll say is that most of the features are free, but the AI features are locked behind a paywall. That just doesn’t work for me personally. I’d really like to be able to try those AI features, you know, without having to pay first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
