What do you like best about ITRS Geneos?

GENEOS is a very good tool for monitoring and creating alerts for the entire IT infrastructure. It is very valuable especially in financial services platforms which have business critical applications and having a real time monitoring solution like geneos is necessary. I like its ability to create custom scripts and toolkits to create our own dashboards, metrics and alerts. It has good documentation and support for timely resolution of issues. It can be integrated to various production grade applications easily and gives 'ease of mind' thanks to its reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ITRS Geneos?

For me, the main thing I dislike about ITRS Geneos is its steep learning curve. The production management team/support team needs to be adequately trained on its features for utilizing geneos effectively. The UI is also legacy compared to the modern alternatives, the dashboards give a sense of archaic and could be more modernized and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ITRS Geneos solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Geneos primarily as a real-time monitoring and alerting tool for business-critical applications. All the applications, databases are integrated with GENEOS and custom alerting has been put in place to thwart any potential issues or outages.
