What do you like best about IT Glue?

I like how I can search for information globally as well as inside of an organization. I like being able to create custom flexible assets so data structures can be formatted how I expect them to be. I really appreciate the integration into Autotask that makes passwords and documents available from the ticket, or when remoting in through DATTO RMM. The ability to embed or associate passwords/objects together is extremely helpful. I appreciate the visibility of who has access to a password when I look at it and a change log for when it was edited or accessed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IT Glue?

The default assets have some required fields that I do not care about and I am not able to change that requirement. I wish there were more formatting options within the flexible assets to make them group objects together or make them smaller, similar to Autotask's dashboards. Getting specific asset types to appear on the tickets was painful to work through. I also wish I could select a piece of information from one asset to display when selecting it from another asset. IE, the WAN IP from the WAN object on a "Network Details" flexible asset which lists the WAN objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IT Glue solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is a lot more successful way of managing passwords and documentation than we did prior. I feel like our material is secure and easier to use. Before we would have references that would go stale, like a WAN IP address needing to be written in multiple places, then updated in multiple places. Now that it just references the object, every other asset gets the update once I update that singular location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
