"Smooth Mac Enrollment and Trusted GRC Posture Data with Iru"

What do you like best about Iru?

We’re a Mac-first company. Every laptop we have, with the exception of one, is a MacBook, and Iru (formerly Kandji) has been the backbone of how we manage them. Enrollment is smooth, and devices get configured consistently without a lot of hands-on IT effort.

The biggest win for us is how well Iru integrates with our GRC platform. It automatically feeds device posture data like OS and application updates, disk encryption status, screen lock settings, antivirus presence, and password manager usage. That means we’re not chasing down screenshots or running manual spot checks when evidence is needed. The data is just there, current, and trustworthy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

When it was Kandji, I didn't like that I had to manage the one Windows machine from another MDM, but now I can manage the Windows machine in Iru as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Iru solving and how is that benefiting you?

Compliance is a major driver for us. We operate under SOC 2, HITRUST, HIPAA, and NIST 800 requirements, and each of them expects proof that endpoints are encrypted, patched, locked down, and protected. Iru lets us enforce those controls on every MacBook and then demonstrate that they’re enforced. Audit prep that used to be a scramble is now largely automated, and we can answer auditor questions about endpoint security with confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
