"Reduced Record-Keeping Hours and Improved Charge Capture with Instinct"

What do you like best about Instinct?

We’ve noticeably reduced staff hours spent maintaining quality records by using Instinct, strengthened our relationships with rDVMs through the ShareVille portal, and improved charge capture for items that used to be easily forgotten.

We also sincerely appreciate Instinct’s constant drive for improvement. Feedback we’ve shared on new products or ideas has genuinely been heard and then implemented.

Their integrated software, such as ScribbleVet and Plumbs/Standards, along with the ability to link all diagnostics, has been incredibly useful for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Instinct?

One of our three ER hospitals also includes a small GP practice, and Instinct has had a few more challenges on the GP side of things. That said, it has been steadily improving over the years. Features like searching by Rabies Tag # or adjusting reminders were relatively “late” additions to the software; those might be considered pretty “basic” on many other platforms. Still, we’ve appreciated their willingness to take feedback and implement changes so we can serve our patients better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Instinct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having electronic treatment sheets has been an enormous benefit to our hospitals. With paper records, mistakes were easy to make, they were very time-consuming to create, and they often led to inaccurate charge capture. Instinct helps us keep records that are more accurate and safer for our patients, while also improving revenue for the hospital.

Integrations such as ScribbleVet and Plumbs/Standards also help the entire team—from receptionists to techs to DVMs—feel supported and empowered on every case, even when they’re dealing with a drug or situation that’s new to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
