"Insphere Speeds Up SRS Drafting with ISO/IEEE-Aligned Docs and Slack/Teams Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Insphere?

I'm a staff engineer at an insurtech company, so I spend a lot of time writing and reviewing Software Requirement Specifications. We started using Insphere mainly for the Product SRS Agent, and for a first draft it actually saves time. You feed it your user inputs and a template, and it spits out a structured document that aligns with ISO and IEEE standards, which is a nice touch because our compliance team cares about that stuff. I also like that it connects to Slack and Teams. We use Slack heavily, so having the agent right there in our channels instead of a separate tab makes it easier to actually use. The revision tracking is helpful too when multiple people are editing the same spec. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Insphere?

The output is a starting point, not a finished product. I still have to go through every section and fix things. Sometimes it misses edge cases or makes assumptions that don't fit our domain, and in insurance that's a problem. The self-hosted setup was also more work than I expected. I'm a developer so I can handle it, but it's not plug and play. You need to be comfortable with infrastructure and picking your own LLM, which took some trial and error to get right. I also wish the integration with our internal tools was smoother. We use a few custom systems and getting those connected took some effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
