I create tasks inside projects for both my client dev work and my internal upskilling sessions for the team. Adding a task is quick, I name it, pick priority, set the date, and it sits right under the correct project, so my timer knows exactly where the next two hours are going. No way to link two related tasks from different projects together. When I prep an internal session that ties back to a client stack, I want a small connector between the two tasks instead of them living in separate silos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for the review. Mentoring and session prep are the hours that usually go unrecorded, so walking into an appraisal able to show them alongside shipped work is a stronger position than most senior devs have.
