## Ingeniux Reviews
  ### 1. Flexibility at its best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Easy to use and understand and to train others on. The interface is simple and not complex. Most users can pick up the process or building out a page or using a workflow with minimal effort.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Assignments are clunky - can not group them or do a mass/group change.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to publish our content using a managed system with the flexibility for dynamic publishing, integration, rebranding and micro sites.

  ### 2. Good System, Attentive Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The system is fairly robust and extremely customizable to fit almost any need. At the same time, the interface isn't overly complicated for regular users.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

While the interface isn't complicated, it isn't as customizable as I'd like. If we could tailor it for individual users or groups in a more sweeping way, it might reduce the number of support calls we get.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a robust CMS to accommodate a variety of needs from individual departments. Ingeniux has given us that flexibility to have a uniform look with tailored content styles.

  ### 3. Ingeniux is awesome!

I've really loved how we've integrated our own modules via github

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

refreshing our dev site, managing assets, some UI issues are pain point

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being able to build custom modules for our designs and having other people be able to easily make pages

  ### 7. Ingeniux CMS

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The system is very flexible assuming that you are able to do your own development or work closely with good developers so you can get exactly what you want.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

The asset manager is absolutely horrible. You can't easily move documents/images/media from folder to folder, and there is no way to restrict what people can name files or folders; for example, we would like to enforce no spaces in file and folder names.

Customer support has been poor in the past, with slow response times and infrequent updates on issues although this may be improving slightly.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

I would stay away from using Ingeniux's development team to implement your system or make enhancements. We had them do some development for us in the past and found that the quality of code was inconsistent and they tend to nickel-and-dime their customers. Instead, hire a reputable firm with experience in developing for Ingeniux or develop in-house.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it relatively easy for everyone to manage their own content.

**Official Response from Riley Edmunds:**

> Hello and thank you for reviewing Ingeniux CMS. With the release of CMS Version 10 (scheduled for Fall 2016) we will have a completely revamped asset manager that we're very excited about.

To learn more about the new asset manager, take a look at this feature article in CMS Critic: https://www.cmscritic.com/exploring-the-digital-asset-management-features-of-ingeniux/

  ### 8. Webdeveloper for the CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The CMS is pretty friendly. Very easy to use and develop. My team learned the system very easily

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

I am running CMS 8... just want to put that out in case the new versions have taken care of this issue. I dislike the image and asset management, that is location oriented instead of ID oriented. That makes the manipulation of assets very rigid

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

I honestly generally like the software. I like that they strive to grow and keep the software updated and young I cannot talk about the newer version as I haven't installed it yet. (My bad) so any comments would be on cms8 which is an unfair review as they are already in 10 and I know they have been taken into consideration our feedback about assets being ID driven instead of path driver and things like that. I think they added a scheduled publish task which would be awesome. Would love if once you created a page you could "change" the schema but that could be way deep into the way the cms works... and if you are paying attention enough, you should realize it before you put any content in it. You delete the page and create a new one and no harm done.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the CMS for my company. We have very specific need and so far the cms has been pretty flexible in "answering" to all of them.

  ### 9. I recomend Ingeniux

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Auto-navigation and taxonomy are superior tools.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Page dependencies when publishing often led to massive publishes. However, this has much improved with the latest version.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Ingeniux is a great CMS. I would recommend for higher-ed or commercial use. The company's leadership is passionate about the product and is routinely forecasting, adapting and expanding the product to meet industry needs.

Have a solid content strategy in place before working with any CMS vendor. A content management system does not solve every issue. Many content issues are resolved by having properly skilled people. Understand the skills of your user community and have honest conversations with the user community about who will be responsible for providing what content.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effective enterprise wide content management for a top 100 university. Content management centralization is key for consistent enduser experience.

  ### 10. Ingeniux for Enterprise Site

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Support and Ingeniux staff are great. They are growing and adding new features to meet customer demand, the problem is the customers are paying for the new features as special add-ons. There are virtually no standard plug-ins to chose from.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Having used many other CMS's we found that Ingeniux was slow to process and cumbersome to manage

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

There are better open source solutions. If you want additional, standard CMS functionality you need to work with their development team and the price quickly increases.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving a global organizations need to share content publishing responsibilities and share content. The publishing tools were not as intuitive as we have found in other CMS's.

  ### 11. Diamond in the rough, great WCM system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aldo B. | Sr. Director, Digital Marketing, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The system is extremely flexible, from its architecture to how you manage content it allows from small to larger companies achieve great Digital Marketing. Very flexible, impress how it handles localization and that's why I am a returning customer.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

The only thing I dislike is the support model, though It was because of the way we implemented the system. The 360 model can be efficient if you have an organized team that works with the vendor and includes them as part of your roadmap.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Know what you need now and how it can grow with you, the system is robust but also you can start small. If you have a small team, let Ingeniux host it for you. Go with the SaaS solution, less maintenance too worry about.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our review incorporated the following, SaaS based delivery, digital asset management, workflows, localization management, template development and usage rights supporting group-level security and collaboration. In order for our company to scale globally, we need to incorporate a robust system that is a true web experience & content management system (content management - technical and visual, localization and digital asset management) that allows Marketing to support all digital programs without needing internal Ops support. This platform will allow us to move faster into regions which support demand generation programs and serve as the main vehicle that will connect with the underlying Marketing engine. Ingeniux CMS delivers a complete set of features for managing complex and performance-oriented websites which at the end allow less overhead on development and technical knowledge.

  ### 12. Very Technical Software

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

As a web developer, the heavy technical process that the CMS uses is something that is easy for me to understand.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

When there is an issue with the product, it can be difficult to identify and/or fix the issue.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Make sure that you have a technical understanding and/or background before attempting to be an administrator and/or manager of the content that is located on the CMS.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the inconsistency of the pages that are on the website as well as being able to manage the pages that are on the website. These problems have been solved with this software.

  ### 13. Functional CMS for Education

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

It's good for workflow and controlling different types of users. The page preview is nice.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

The system is not very intuitive to end users. And there seems to be many bugs with the newest release. Also some functions that are very counterintuitive and arbitrary, like listing users names in no particular order.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it primarily to give our many stakeholders content ownership. However, sometimes that leads to content being out of date, if they do not engage with the CMS regularly.

  ### 14. New user with only positives

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan M. | Director of Web Communications, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The syndication feature has allowed us to create content and put on multiple pages, easing our overall workload.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

That taxonomy cannot be filtered is something I hope will be fixed in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Make sure your design and cut-up are as ready to go as possible. Failure to do your own proper QA early in the process will lead to unavoidable delays, lost time and wasted money - none of this is the fault of Ingeniux, though. They are very accommodating in helping work through hiccups that arise. The best part of Ingeniux for us really was the crew we worked with, from the discovery phase, through implementation, training and support.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now mobile responsive and using this CMS allows us greater flexibility to change marketing on the fly.

  ### 15. Solid software with excellent support!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

I love their support team the best. They respond quickly and don't leave you hanging.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

You can't quite hack and bash at your content like you can in notepad... but that's OK as you get stablity and even product among users instead.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization's web presence is more uniform than it's ever been before due to global templates and control.

  ### 16. Sr UX Designer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John N. | Sr. User Experience Designer, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The new CMS offers a nice platform that is diverse and allows for a lot of customization - while still enforcing the standardization that comes with a CMS templating system. CMS 9 has given us the opportunity to develop many pages with custom features into an established template.

The preview system has allowed for easier approval workflows. This is especially important when business users want to see the interaction perform - but it is not in production yet.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

I don't like having to publish something just to get my images to production. The new CMS 9 seems to need to "think" more than previous versions.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

This is a great content management system... it offers a lot of options for multiple users to contribute to their website while still allowing for administration and oversight. Good customer support and the IGX team is concerned about the welfare of you site/business.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can build very customized experiences with unique landing pages that can speak to segmented traffic. The flexibility to "re-use" elements now and make not have to make anymore one-off pages just to accommodate a small visual/cosmetic change.

  ### 17. Getting better, but it's no Wordpress!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen D. | Marketing Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Because we are a small shop, and because the software is so complex and finicky, I cannot consider doing much development on the site – leaving it to Ingeniux. One less recurring major headache to manage.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

The software is so finicky and complex that we cannot do much to fix things, much less add functionality. And then Ingeniux takes forever because every site is so idiosyncratic not even their developers can quickly find breaks or add functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

It's not clear that any other large-scale CMS can provide the third-party development community that Wordpress has, nor whether any of the other CMS systems that offer an array of simple plug-ins and widgets to add functionality could cope with 30 contributors to 3300 pages.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standard publishing for a distributed organization. Work flow in principle makes us more efficient, but given the counter-intuitive interface the infrequent user ends up asking for help or loses their own time trying to remember how to edit or publish.

  ### 18. The Ingeniux team aren't magicians but, helped us do what seemed impossible!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cyndi D. | Web Producer/Content Manager, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

We have created and host approximately 170 sites, in 27 languages with Ingeniux. Because of the flexibility, and ease of use of the CMS, we've accomplished this with an extremely small internal team. In addition, the support we received during our build was exceptional.

Maybe more importantly is the ongoing support from the Ingeniux team. They have truly been, and continue to be, an important partner for us, not just a vendor.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

I don't really have any negatives to share. Even "bumps in the road" have been handled professionally and thoroughly. Any time I've raised any type of an issue, it has received the attention and resolution I would expect.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

I am a big advocate for both Ingeniux as a partner company and of their products. I believe any company searching for a reliable, content management system/partner would be well served by Ingeniux.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an international company, we support sites for 100+ countries in many languages and needed a templatized, yet flexible option that allowed in-country marketers present marketing, product and service information in a way that best speaks to their local audience. The Ingeniux platform allows us to offer that.

Additionally we support our corporate content, foundation and alliance units, with fully different needs.

As we plan for 2016 and beyond, we will look to our partnership the Ingeniux team to make our sites more personalized to users' needs and interests.

  ### 19. Ingeniux for a Resort Company, an in-house developers view.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach R. | Photographer, Web Designer, Web Developer, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Ingeniux has a very friendly UI that works well for our content contributors. Using the MVC framework from Microsoft also gives it a very flexible framework to work around that can be shaped to your needs. Development to work with the CMS is straightforward and not full of confusing CMS specific workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

The CMS has one major flaw, and that is maintaining assets. Assets (PDFs, images, etc) are not kept in any kind of database structure, so they are not tracked. From a performance and complexity standpoint, this is a good thing, but from a usability standpoint, it is extremely bad. For instance, if a user deletes a PDF, the system does not look to see what links may break, but instead just deletes the asset and allows the broken links to occur. Also, renaming an asset doesn't correct any links to it, which leads to similar issues.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to power our customer facing websites. As far as benefit's go, the biggest has been the ease of use for content contributors. This has led to far less issues with updating the site, and more time left to developing instead of helping the users.

  ### 20. A powerful platform for powerful websites

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian M. | Senior User Interface Developer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Everything in Ingeniux is represented by XML data, which is very versatile and easy to manipulate in C#. The ways you can manipulate and organize the data in your website via categorization, and pull that data throughout the site is very powerful and allows you to create almost anything you want in terms of front end code. Ingeniux is also very flexible and customizable, with API hooks into a lot of nooks and crannies of the CMS. You can concievably integrate almost every third party service into the actual CMS itself, using things like Custom Tabs or Applications that live in tandem with the code base.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Being so modular, using Ingeniux with third party platforms or integrating services into it requires a lot of legwork.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Ingeniux is great if you want the flexibility to do what you need with the services you want, and are willing to put in the work to get those features. If you don't want to be limited by the data the CMS gives you, this is one of the best CMSes for that.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Ingeniux as a platform for our client's websites and intranets, to allow them to reach their audiences without limiting the kinds of content they can create.

  ### 21. IGX Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

This content management system offers a lot of options for multiple users to contribute to their website while still allowing for administration and oversight. The user interface is really good in comparison to other systems I have worked with. I've had a good time working with the support team. The move to a NO SQL database and moving to use .NET as its primary development language is also a move in the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Generally been please with the solution. Would like to see it add more segregation of administrative duties.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to address a number of sites over the years . The ability to serve the needs of three different campuses. Provide responsive solutions. Managing various ways to share content thought the site and uses of categorization.

  ### 22. {Required]

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corwin, T. | Web Architect, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

easy-fast redirects. And, their product support. Even though we are barely an enterprise level customer, it's nice to be driving one of the best enterprise level CMSs. As an admin, this is one of the easiest to keep up and maintain.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Not really IGX's fault, but every time there is a browser update, it can make some editing features not work. So, you can't really edit in just one browser all the time. You probably shouldn't limit yourself to just one browser anyway for editing.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Hire only web designers with IGX experience. We did and we had/have no problems with our new design. Others I know of did not, and allowed their designers to hack the CMS. Money wasted. This is one of the few systems where you can successfully deploy multiple authors and approvers with few problems. We currently have 143 of those here and they all don't hesitate to use the system to update their pages. As a result, you won't find much dead wood on our website of 6500 pages and 1500 web components.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've only recently been conscious of tracking things like external links and IGX has helped us with that. Among the 31 systems colleges we are a part of, we're one of the few with an enrollment net increase over last year. We're also the only one with a fully-deployed and leveraged IGX system. Draw your own conclusion.

  ### 23. Customizable solutions, great customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin R. | Director of Online Content and Training, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Ingeniux Content Management System is one of the best because of its versatility, ease of use, and superior customer service. Because they are a small company, they can respond quickly.

Additionally, our account manager has higher education expertise which enables him to understand our website needs as a University.

Their rollout of our mobile site was especially expedient.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

I don't have any issues with the CMS that are IGX-related.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

Be aware that they do not offer an athletics module.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A content management system is so integral to the day-to-day operations of maintaining on line presence in higher education. I personally manage nearly 100 people who have permissions to work on a specific portion of their website and without this CMS, my job would be 10x harder. Their classes for administrators are extremely helpful because their highly-capable instructors teach you how to master your own CMS.

  ### 24. Ingeniux's people feel like part of my own team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margot W. | Web & Applications Manager, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The Ingeniux user interface for content contributors is easy to use, and there's lots of flexibility for controlling permissions and access for users. On the developer side, I love the flexibility of the system. With a little know-how, it's very easy to take projects in-house, and the sky's the limit in terms of possibilities. In my four years working with Ingeniux, I have also been very happy with their customer service and support. They have a great support department and are always available to address issues that come up for us. Taking advantage of their many service/support options, we are able to run a large website with minimal staff and not worry about employing specialized skill sets. They employee a great team of people who are enjoyable to work with. They often feel like part of my team, rather than employees of a third-party vendor.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

As with all long-standing installations of any system, our system is a bit finicky and often gives us trouble when we upgrade to the latest service releases or versions of the Ingeniux CMS. However, Ingeniux is very vigilant about helping us through these upgrading issues. We also could alleviate a lot of this hassle by switching over to their hosted service.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

I would recommend having Ingeniux do the initial build-out of your new site, so that you know all the standards and best practices are in place. Then have at it and customize further as you need!

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Ingeniux CMS has provided us with a flexible platform that we have customized to appeal to multiple audiences. We are able to build new page types and components easily, to meet new and emerging needs. And we remain nimble in terms of fresh design and content, while running with a very small in-house web team.

  ### 25. CMS Implemenation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

I enjoyed working with the team, great team work!

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Sometimes the response time was longer than I liked.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are upgrading our CMS.

  ### 26. Fantastic CMS for a page heavy website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Motion Pictures and Film | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Ingeniux's personal support for our initial and subsequent launches has been invaluable. They are true problem solvers and innovators when it comes to custom features and user experience.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

We have some mobile issues - it terms of formatting and API integration - though resolution is in process, it has been a slow one.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

They have a great team to work with! With that being said, go in knowing how much creative control you want over your website. For us, we don't have a web developer onsite, so we utilize their Creative Services. It is first rate, but in turn, we do have to plan in advance for any updates.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main business problem was having a page heavy website due to three departments worth of programming and events. We now have a seamless navigable website with this CMS and an awesome uploading tool that allows for large imports for page creation.

  ### 27. Customizable web system, perfect for any organization

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick T. | Creative Director, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Easy to use interface that can be customized for multiple audiences.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

The platform itself is a blank slate and takes a lot of configuration to get started. At times various browsers have issues working with aspects of the CMS interface.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

This is a great product but takes a lot of configuring and customization from scratch. Many outsource this to 3rd Party vendors but with a proper plan and testing (because of a lack of budget) it can be done in-house.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to solve communication issues.

  ### 28. I've been a satisfied Ingeniux customer for 7 years.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil F. | Curator, Online Media, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

The CMS is flexible and powerful -- and functionality that I've dreamt up, Ingeniux has been able to deliver.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

I would love a more robust wysiwyg editor .

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

I highly recommend Ingeniux for the quality of the product as well as the excellent customer service and support.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a higher Ed institution, we're always looking to set ourselves apart from our competitors, and the Ingeniux CMS has helped us to do that by offering robust content creation tools

  ### 29. As a 6-month user...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Easy to use. Previously I've been using JOOMLA platform. Was trained on WordPress, so after those 2 "guys" Ingeniux" seems easy. It does have similar structure which makes it easier to use.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

After 3pm the live postings are slower. The way "around" I have to make to get into translation stage. I wish I'd skip all these steps. After translations are returned, the links are not "there", so I have to manually check and re-link translated pages. It is a pain.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are software support company, so on our website we do promote our self. I do love that Ingenius platform is responsive, that factor help us skip many extra steps when preparing graphic and layouts for posting.

  ### 30. Customized Ingeniux Environment

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

It's pretty straight forward and easy to comprehend. Training the staff on how to use the content management system is pretty simple and easy for them to pick up. I like the administration, where we can set up roles and grant access to certain areas in the tree.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Once customized support gets a little tricky. We've been going between the third party vendor that customized the CMS for us and Ingeniux to determine who can solve the issue at hand.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not sure what a business problem is. Sorry this is my Managers role and they would answer this better than I.

  ### 31. Great Product and Services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica D. | Director, Information Technology, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Ingeniux CMS empowers our users to have control over their web content. Very easy for our end users to use.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Should have a few advanced training classes for web developers.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communicating with our members through our website content.

  ### 32. Using IGX CMS Software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

What I like best about using the CMS software is that it has the ability to really manage who can do what on the website. The fact that I can assign people to a group and limit what that group can do is a very powerful tool.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

What I dislike the most has been the process of updating the site's template. Currently I have to work in separate Dev site, then copy the files to DSS_Preview_Production, and THEN have the IGX team update the live site for me. It is a very confusing and lengthy process that I think could be addressed.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the Web Developer I'm only solving problems with the web site.

  ### 33. Ingeniux

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Highly likely, having worked within this system at a previous employer I am comfortable with the interface. It would be in the top 5 I could recommend.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

At times, mark/unmark function and/or publish does not let you unpublish an item, it seems that the system doesn't always take or clear it out.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing for multi-people to be able to manage their own content, while communicating with our user bases about academic, administrative, or allow them to do transactions with the university.

  ### 34. Ingeniux experience

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Customer service has been helpful when I've had an issue.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

That we don't have the ability to do any development in-house or make changes to the site easily. Many things seem to be an additional fee.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need a flexible content management system.

  ### 35. Positive Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camille S. | Senior Director, Web & Digital Marketing, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Ingeniux offers a flexible, comprehensive approach to web content management.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

We've not run into any major limitations.

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We leverage Ingeniux as our global CMS for web sites in multiple languages. We utilize workflow to allow multiple contributors.

  ### 36. Superior product for small businesses and universities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Dairy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

Innovative technology, user-friendly, and great admin controls

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

Still some kinks to work out, so hoping with future versions it will improve

**What problems is Ingeniux solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has improved our forms of communication and enhanced our marketing tactics for our member users.

  ### 37. Content management that works well

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rusty P. | Senior Director of Global Operations and Quality, Medical Devices, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2012

**What do you like best about Ingeniux?**

We have been using Ingeniux for several years and it works really well. It allows us to have various department reps update their portion of the website. It is very lightweight and was relatively easy to implement. It is definitely a good CMS system.

**What do you dislike about Ingeniux?**

A lot of the support that we needed was community based as we had some issues finding what we wanted. But it just works, so we don't have that much to complain about.

**Recommendations to others considering Ingeniux:**

There are cheaper alternatives, but this is a solid CMS.
