**What do you like best about Influitive?**

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

Since Influitive was acquired, we have experienced tremendous challenges with the platform and lack of support. We no longer have a dedicated Customer Success rep (who we used to meet with biweekly) and the amazing Support team has been replaced with a chatbot. Super dissapointed.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before the acquisiton Influtiive offered a great user experience for customers with a very fun and rewarding platform for community engagement and content amplification. However the UI has become difficult to work with and there is a lack of respect for customers. Support questions go unanswered, causing communication issues between me as the admin, and OUR users of the platform. Will not be renewing.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

The platform incorporates gamified activities/challenges that encourage participation. This makes the community experience enjoyable and motivates members to contribute, share insights, and support one another actively. The reporting and dashboard tools provide valuable insights and enable us to make data-driven decisions. Influitive also has many integrations to assist with tracking advocate activity and assisting in generating visibility for the community. (This sentence is now past tense as of Jan 2024, but prior to the Jigsaw acquisition, Influitive had excellent support, and I loved working with their CSM team.)

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

Updated as of 1/25/2024: While the platform is the same and the "What I like best" comments are still valid, at this point, you also have to consider Customer Support, which used to include a CSM whom you would meet with at least once a month. This is now a paid service. If you opt out of a managed services plan and need support, you have to utilize their AI chatbot, and if you are still having issues, you then submit a support ticket after using the AI chatbot. Before the acquisition, my support tickets were completed within 24 hours. I have a ticket right now for a simple email update that is going on for 4 business days. All of the support and managed services have been outsourced through a 3rd company (Crossover) that sits under the ESW umbrella. They allege that they have 24-hour support, but I have only been receiving messages at 11pm PST. When I reply, I am waiting another day for the response or next question.

Research more on ESW, Trilogy and the CEO Liemandt. In a Forbes article it is stated that "Crossover is running the cloud equivalent of a software sweatshop". Liemandt's goal is to turn his "workers" into algorithms and human CPUs.

If you are looking to purchase Influitive for the first time, I caution you. Reach out to other users, there is a LinkedIn Group and many fellow Community and Customer Marketers are on various Slack Groups.

Influitive helps build an engaged customer community that drives referrals, retention, online reviews, testimonials, customer content, cross sell/upsell, collect feedback and more at scale. We can target the right audience with the right ask or opportunity.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

Influitive's gameification capabilities set it apart as a community platform.  The points, leaderboards, and automated rewards make it an easy experience for customer advocates to engage with.  I love the way Influitive allows me to automate my workflow by inviting customers to handraise for marketing opportunities instead of constant emails back and forth.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

The UX experience on Influitive leaves much to be desired.  The platform's code could use an overall refresh.  Customization for UX and layout is limited.  As a generator of UGC content, it would be a much more useful platform with a better content repository.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Influitive helps automate customer advocacy requests and helps to drive customer engagment across our community.  The built-in gameification and tracking metrics help us keep track of our advocates and ensure they are recognized and rewarded.

Customers who belong to more than one Influitive program can sometimes have problems logging in.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Influitive helps build an engaged customer community that drives referrals, retention reviews, references, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities AT SCALE.  Previously, our customer advocates were scattered across the organization in the hands of several people (sales, customer success, etc.). Influitive enabled us to bring them together in one place where they could be nurtured and supported in an informal environment. We educate them, offer support, have fun, ask questions, and get feedback, all while building their professional and personal profiles.  This allows us to strategically pull "asks" from them. The right customer, with the right profile, for the right ask and the right time.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

The support and customer success I've received working with Influitive is top notch! It's been a huge factor in my success so far. The product helps me engage my customers and advocates on a daily basis. The gamification sets it a part from other platforms I've used in the past. I've been to a few industry events this year, and it was great to meet the team members they sent to those events.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

One thing I hope to improve next year is my reference program and integration with salesforce - hopefully Influitive can get me closer to these objectives.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can be challenging to engage customers in my industry, as well as get acts of advocacy and content from them. The Influitive platform is like a bucket you can send your customers to in order to feed them your educational and support resources. Over time, the Influitive platform has helped me find customers that were willing to volunteer for reference calls and case studies.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

To be honest, this is my first company that I have worked in a Customer Marketing & Advocacy role. So Influitive is the only customer community I've ever known, but it's the only one I'll ever need. The platform is intuitive that I was able to quickly understand it and engage with our customers. I also love the ideas and support that I receive from being in Influitive's community! That along with the incredible support from our account and support teams have been critical to ensure we understand and are leveraging all aspects of Influitive.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

No complaints from me. They are integrated or have extensions to all of the other marketing tech stack, so we have no complaints there!

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There was a brief time that our invitations were needing to be manually pushed through and there was a SalesForce block, but the support team was on it and helped troubleshoot very quickly and stay in contact with updated along the way.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

The support team and my CSM are super helpful and very quick whenever I need something or have any questions. I also like the integrations with different platforms such as SFDC and appreciate that Influitive is constantly improving, adding new features, and asking for feedback from customers. It's easy to use and it's a good place for our members (partners) to interact and share knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

I wouldn't say that there's something I dislike but rather that there are features that can be added for a better experience. Having the SFDC-Influitive mapping was a bit difficult in the beginning but we fixed that in collaboration with our internal IT team and Influitive's Support and Engineering teams.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Influitive is helping us to get closer to our partners and to understand how we can support them better. It allows our partners to know each other, share knowledge, and learn more about our products while having fun and earning points.

Influitive is, well, intuitive to use. I haven't used other tools for comparison, but it's been easy to replicate challenges, engage, and reward your advocates. They take your suggestions into account and are always improving the feature functions. Customer support teams are quick to respond and CSMs try to provide ideas to help raise your program to the next level.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

As with any tech, glitches sometimes happen and it may take some time figure out why and fixes for them.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

Aside from the stellar technology, the highlight of working with Influitive has to be the people who power the company. I'm supported every step of the way by my CSM, account manager, and any other internal team I get to work with. My company hosts fairly complex online summits/events, Influitive makes it so easy to transfer assets + information to and from our main hub <> event hubs.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

I wish reporting was a bit easier to navigate. There is a TON of great information to sift through, but the UX within the reporting could be better.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As client marketer, the challenges I face daily are how to successfully turn clients into shining advocates. Influitive is the perfect spot to wrap all initiatives into one; community, references, referrals, events, webinars, etc.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

Influitive is the only platform you need to build an efficient advocacy hub for customers. Through the platform, we have been able to connect with customers, allow them to provide us with product and company feedback, facilitate discussion groups, and create fun challenges, which are all gamified. It allows us to build our advocacy initiatives right into the platform, including the option to participate in case studies, speaker opportunities, testimonials, CABs, and more.  The UI is fantastic and the support team is great.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

Nothing at all! There are regular improvements, the account team is fantastic, issues are resolved quickly, and the product team communicates updates regularly.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Influitive has allowed us to become closer to our customers and enhance our outreach. It's a fantastic tool to not only bring our VIP customers and advocates into a community where they can interact with their peers, but also provides them an opportunity to participate in our advocacy initiatives and receive constant updates about our product from our team. I find the engagement is fantastic and we wouldn't have been able to have the insights we do without this platform.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

Influitive is has by far the most useful features/functionalities when it comes to building an advocacy program or community. Their interface is intuitive and their reporting is in depth. Support has been incredible and they're always pulling us into ways to get more value from our program at no extra cost.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

To make way for newer features, some old features could do with a lick of paint and there are some seemingly obvious things that could improve like being able to select all in a challenge view, but that being said I have no doubt that they're already looking to improve with the chat feature getting a huge overhaul recently among other older features seeing new light.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Influitive gives us a way to engage with our community. It helps us to identify potential promoters of our product, reward those already doing so and seamlessly report on every activity whereever they are in their advocacy journey. Influitive is also helping us to understand our customers more with tools to survey our customers or target them with content relevant to them specifically. We gather speakers, references, reviewers and beta testers among a lot of other things at a few clicks of a button and our advocates are extremely engaged.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

What I like best about the Influitive platform is the ability to customize and brand it to look like our company. It also provides a way to communicate with and stay in front of customers outside of our marketing automation and customer relationship management platforms. Yet, it is integrated to both.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

There are elements that are overly complex, like understanding acts of advocacy with multiple fields. Some areas are lacking in functionality, like when segmenting based on behavior, there are few options like "before" and "in the last" instead of also having a date range, after a sjpecific date,etc.

Influitive gives us a way to communicate with our customers and a way to connect our customers to senior leaders and product management.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

The referral program and technology Influitive offers outshined all other vendors we reviewed. They automate the backend workflow and integrate with Salesforce. This makes it super easy for us to track all leads and follow up as quickly as possible. You also can customize individual referral pages based on specific campaigns you are running. Secondly, Influitive's segmentation capabilities are incredible–basically endless!  We can ensure that all of our advocates are getting a unique, tailored experience because of our detailed segmentation.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

There is not much to dislike about Influitive! Our experience has been great so far (client for over a year). I will say I would like to see more frequent product feature updates! Sometimes it feels a bit stagnant.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Influitive is helping us power our customer advocacy program by providing them with a centralized location to perform acts of advocacy. We have seen a 300%+ ROI thus far.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

The company itself is always trying to grow and make the platform better for their customers. They are VERY engaged with their customers and I have been an influitive customer at THREE companies so far. Their commitment or engagement doesn't change based on what company you are with!

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

There are times where I just want a fast answer and wish I had a quicker way to figure it out. They have all sorts of discussions, FAQs, etc so its all there! I know a CSM can't be your support but wish I wasw able to quickly chat with them and ask a question. I also don't have the relationship with the CSM like my manager does. But overall not much I can say about disliking Influitive.

We do not have a great relationship with our customers. Right now our sales reps are the only ones with a relationship, so influitive is giving us better access to them and also helping us foster that relationship.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

Easy to set up for us as admins and an easy to navigate UI from a community member standpoint. Influitive has allowed us to run more effective engagement campaigns and provide resources from one source as opposed to separate CSM outreach, but our CSMs also love the ability to connect with all of their customers at once. Having access to Influitive's own VIP community and webinars has helped not only me as an admin, but a lot of our Marketing team find new and creative ways to connect.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

While there have been a few performance struggles, their move to an updated code base is showing much improvement. We'd love to see a bit more customization options that don't require HTML/CSS.

Our outreach to customers required a lot of getting on the right page internally but Inlfuitive has streamlined our ability to connect with our customers more organically and gives our customers a direct way to connect with each other.

It's fun, really helps boosts engagment and is easy to customize and taylor to your needs and what your goals are. Easy ways to make challenges, award points, and more.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

We were doing a hub cleanup and somehow triggered a lot of the targeting and such to go wrong. We got a lot of help from the team, however it would have been nice if they could have just reverted back to the old setup vs us having to work with them to get everything put back together again.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us get to know our partners more which in turn is a huge benefit for us. We are able to know what they're interests are, how we are doing, and what we can improve upon. It also is a great way to share new information such as new assets. We host out partner toolkit within Insiders and that is one of our greatest assets.

With a simple and intuitive interface, it allows us to share the latest company news, engage our customers in activities, and learn more about their habits, preferences, and feedback on our products and events.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

There is nothing I don't like, I just think it could be refined especially in the management of channels, challenges and groups in the back office. The inability to delete old groups and campaigns that are no longer used is a limitation, but one that can be solved simply by improving the functionality. Overall, it is a very good tool.

Influitive allows you to share news about business, product, events, and more in an easy and fun way. It is used by our advocates as a social network where they can find all the latest news and be able to connect with their peers.

The team at Influitive is responsive, caring, and helpful. I love that our team meets with our Influitive representative on a regular basis, ensuring that questions get answered quickly, and also pushing us to think about how we can continue to leverage the platform for our particular goals and audience.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

I think for right now, there are some sections of the administrative side that are a little clunky, in terms of finding settings or reporting. However, there has never been anything that was impossible to find or build when speaking to my rep about our business needs.

We run a student ambassador program and it's very easy to use the Influitive platform to help gamify and engage the students. In particular, I like that students have the control of which challenges they complete.

It's a great way for cusotmers to interact, helps you pinpoint advocates for speakers, case studies, etc and is fun! Customers are able to earn points for their activites which keeps them engaged and coming back. They can redeem those points for rewards and Influitive is easy to navigate for everybody.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

There isn't much I dislike. I think it's pretty easy to navigate on the back end and has a good end user experience. Sometimes the integrations can be tough to set up and sync but customer service is quick to respond.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a way to reward our advocates in a meaningful way. This enables us to interact with them, provide them opportunites to volunteer for advocacy activies as they have time and engage together for networking or product help.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

It's systematic. There is a process and flow to how things are interconnected. Having a great CSM work with me to bring out the best components of the hub has been a very constructive and useful use of our CX dollars.

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

Customization is hard. I would like to have more control over the look and feel of the templated challenges. It would be helpful to have are more generic wireframe of challenges available that could suit my audience instead of trying to adapt a fixed theme to them.

It helps to be able to listen to our customers and develop those who are willing to be advocates for our company through sharing their stories, providing product feedback, and being available as customer references.

Some of the edits/admin tasks have to be performed by the company. It's sometimes frustrating from an admin view when it is a tweak that would help us a bunch.

The Account Manager assigned to us is awesome. The platform offers a variety of features that help our advocates stay engaged and enjoy learning and earning all within a fun platform. It's easy to use for admins and users. The integration works hand in hand with our CRM so it's seamless to share invites and add advocates to the platform.

I won't want to say I dislike things on the platform, but the reporting could be better. We often come across bugs and report them to support. Ah yes, the mobile app for users needs work, lots of work, it's pretty redundant! Other than that the platform is an asset to have.

There's not a lot not to like! We're about 2 years into our journey with Influitive, and, despite achieving so much, we have a load more to do. The platform is excellent, with all the functionality we need to engage our customers and deliver value to the business. 

We have seen huge success in the generation of peer reviews (including on G2), gathering product feedback, driving event registration, amplifying our social channels, developing a reference group, and so much more. Not to mention the deepening of our relationships with our customers.

The Influitive team is super-helpful and full of excellent advice, drawing on their years of experience. There's always someone available to help, at most hours of the day.

Genuinely, nothing!

There's very little to dislike about Influitive. The team responds quickly to feedback, and I'm hopeful that we'll continue to see regular improvements.

I find Influitive ideal for outreach to customers with a quick feedback questions (using the polls), or to use a challenge to give them that little nudge and join the conversation on a thread. I should probably use a quiz to ensure they've read the post more often.

I find it harder to have in-depth conversations using the forums (and to keep an eye on them/put private notes against them to share with colleagues). It would be great if in the forums there were also a snipped to include a (part of) a content page.

For me it allows to easily reach out to our most engaged customers and partners with:

I absolutely love how easy Influitive is to use! I feel like I was able to get the hang of the software within a week or so, though I'm constantly learning about new features. It's so easy to build challenges and get them to the right audience, and I love the way we can customize how our hub looks to end users. Overall I appreciate how easy it is to use because this software is a key function of my job. We get great feedback from our customers as well about how they enjoy using our Influitive hub.

Sometimes searching for information can be tricky. It's usually only specific use cases but sometimes I'll find myself saying, "gosh, I wish there was an easier way to find xyz piece of information." Also, the reporting functionality was a bit tricky to understand but luckily we have an awesome CSM that took time to walk me through it. There are also bugs from time to time, but what can you do - that's every software.

They have an external implementation team who does great work.

The customer-facing team, as well as the product team are not supportive of most of the customer's requests. They mainly deflect issues away and are not willing to commit to making much-needed changes. 
Even the extra charge requests take several months to complete, at very high costs.

We wanted to create a customer community with their tool - leveraging the discussion board and activities (challenges) to gain traction, as well as include knowledge material for references. The search capability in not user friendly and it's very complicated to find the relevant article or discussion topic. 
To create a proper gamification you need to manually duplicate each of the activities. Overall, there are minimal and cumbersome workflows and most of the work is manual.

The contrast between the admin and member experience can be a bit jarring and I often find myself viewing things from the Member POV when building out new content since the admin is designed with less UX in mind.  Sometimes I feel like the organization is a bit clunky and with the sheer amount of challenges and discussion boards we have, it can be hard to search for past content without remembering the exact name or downloading an offline report.

Influitive has been a valuable partner to us since the beginning. Given the field of advocacy and associated tech stack is relatively new, having a partner to guide us and share best practices has been invaluable as we have grown and expanded the influence of our program. The technology is pretty easy to use once you learn it, and functionality has consistently increased as Influitive itself has evolved. The tool allows us to engage our clients at scale and glean from them valuable insight we can use to support our business. They have a fantastic, attentive support team when issues to arise, and truly act like a partner.

In order to run an effective program, you'll need a resource dedicated to building and engaging the community. At first, this is at least one full time role, but can scale back over time as your program matures. Influitive also offers a lot of support when implementing the solution to ensure you're thinking about everything. Running the community can be time consuming to do well, but there are definitely ways to ensure your team is focused on the right activity.

Influitive is extremely easy to get up and running. The support from the implementation and customer success teams makes it easy to see positive results right away! Any issue you can think of, Influitive has already thought it through and has an answer for it. I would 100% recommend Influitive to anyone looking to energize their customer advocacy program.

I would love to see some improvements in the Discussions module, especially with topics and threading. When you have an extremely active community, it can be challenging to keep up with the newest replies and follow threads. Also, there is no social integration with Instagram, which for our audience was a nice-to-have. But overall, the experience has been fantastic.

We needed to drive customer retention and expansion, enhance the customer journey, and improve customer engagement. I like how much you are able to do with the Influitive hubs. We have two- an internal hub for our employees and an external hub for our customers. While both are set up and run a bit differently, they're both great tools to engage employees and customers and build a community.

Like any platform, there is some red tape with things that cannot be done. For our team, we run into issues with being able to customize some of the features. Specifically with the campaigns they provide, we are not able to customize them to our exact needs so we are having to create them all from scratch.

**What do you like best about Influitive?**

Influitive enables us to engage with our customers in a really personal and customized way. It also allows us to have a direct channel to communicate and get feedback!

**What do you dislike about Influitive?**

The reporting functionalities can be confusing. Additionally, since there is so much information, it can be easy to get lost in the weeds.

**What problems is Influitive solving and how is that benefiting you?**
