"Easy to Deploy, Adaptable, and Great Support"

5/5

What do you like best about Ideagen Quality Control?

What I like most about Ideagen Quality Control is its ease of use combined with how quickly it was able to adapt to our organization. We were able to configure and deploy it without extensive customization or disruption to existing workflows, making the transition smooth and practical. Ideagens's support was also great getting when we were getting this going. One standout feature has been the PDF comparison capability. Our engineering team finds this extremely valuable, as it allows for quick and reliable identification of changes between document revisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ideagen Quality Control?

The tolerance recognition is not always accurate. The issue is largely driven by the variability and quality of customer-supplied drawings, which includes inconsistent fonts, varying symbols, and misaligned or poorly formatted text. In these cases, the software may the process requires manual review or adjustment to ensure tolerances are input correctly.

That said, this challenge is closely tied to the quality of the source documentation rather than a fundamental issue with the platform itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for this wonderful review, Jose! It's great to hear that the deployment was smooth and that the team was well supported throughout the process. Knowing that PDF comparison has become such a valuable tool for your engineering team is exactly the kind of outcome we aim for.

Your observations about tolerance recognition are well noted. Drawing quality and formatting variability can certainly affect accuracy, and it's helpful that you've identified this as a source documentation factor. For any cases where manual adjustment is needed, your account manager can share best practices that help get the most reliable results from varied drawing types.

Great to know we're supporting your part-to-CAD comparison process and helping ensure documentation accuracy!

Kind regards,

The Ideagen Team
