**What do you like best about iCal?**

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

The settings don't want to take. iCal seems to decide which default calendar it wants and sometime it seems to add calendars from emails without user input

I can invite people to meetings. Schedule appointments and schedule reminders

  ### 3. Simple and easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about iCal?**

I love how iCal talks to Apple Maps; whenever you add to your calendar and add a location, calendar and maps automatically sync up. You can see your next destination on the map within the Calendar app. I love this, because I don't have to separately open Maps and plug in my destinations, because Calendar does it for me!

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

Personally, there aren't too many downsides; it's simple and sleek. When I open the app on my phone, the appointments, destinations and notes are all laid out. I can see everything I had planned. I'd say the only downside is that you are you're supposed to put a start time and end time; I really do not like how the end time shifts when you change the start time. (I.e. If I have an appointment from 2pm-3pm and I change the start time to 2:15, iCal automatically shifts the end time to 3:15, which is not correct.) I wish they would just stay stagnant! It's so weird, I do not know how to fix it. Maybe in system settings?

**What problems is iCal solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work part time in property management as a tour guide, so I have a lot of appointments/houses I need to be at every hour. All of these places are all over LA: the valley, central LA, and East LA. iCal benefits me when I work this job because I can just input all of my appointments in iCal. When I work the job day of, I can open iCal and I see my day laid out; I can see my appointments, addresses, and notes in one go. I can tap on each individual appointment and see maps on that page, and all I have to do is click on the map and it will automatically open Apple Maps for me. I love how the two apps talk to each other! It makes my job so much easier.

**Reviewed by:** Iyer A. | Business Development Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about iCal?**

It is free, easy to use, lightweight, and can be integrated with the mail app. Apple offers customer support on all products, but I haven't had any issues. It's easily implemented into life / your computer as well if you own multiple products. I do see daily frequency use.

**What do you dislike about iCal?**

It gets cluttered easily, and it cannot easily send invites. It's good for being free though. But for business I would reccomend something more robust.

Might be a bit too simple, but that's Apple's philosophy I guess.
