I like that the economics for agentic automation are contained within IBM watsonx Orchestrate, but it isn’t a closed ecosystem—you can integrate anything you can make a connector for. The control plane gives me a significant governance layer to see how adoption is going and how much is being spent, which creates a lot of value for customers. I can talk with customers about business outcomes through the graphical user interface and agentic workflow designer without needing to do anything technical, and still get the information I need to build something that helps them. The interface makes the solution more accessible and is a nice way to present it, while we use the ADK to develop it. I also like how intuitive the setup was; I only had a couple of small issues and used the help text to set things up. The voice connector for text-to-speech and speech-to-text has improved a lot. I also like that our integrated Windows productivity app lets users access the control plane without opening a web page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s not a large problem, but it’s hard for end customers to try different LLMs in the graphical user interface when they can select only the GPT OSS 120 B. More choices in the drop-down list would be a better selling point, especially for customers who require a frontier AI model. I also had a period when audio integration didn’t work really well, though the Siptron connector for voice has improved it a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
