"Fast, No-Code Statistical Testing with a Handy Data Editor"
4/5
What do you like best about IBM SPSS Statistics?

What works best for me is that it lets me run standard statistical tests without having to write code. The spreadsheet-style Data Editor makes it easy to define variables and deal with missing values, and running ANOVA, regressions, or descriptive statistics from the menus is fast and straightforward. I also like having the option to paste syntax as a middle ground when I need to reproduce an analysis later, without having to maintain a full script in Python or R. What do you dislike about IBM SPSS Statistics?

Licensing and renewal costs are definitely on the higher side, which makes it hard to justify for smaller teams or independent projects. The UI could also use a more modern overhaul; navigating deeply nested menus gets tedious, and producing polished, clean charts takes more manual effort than it should. When I’m working with heavier datasets, performance can also occasionally lag. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
