What do you like best about IBM Spectrum Control?

The easy way to manage all the devices that are being monitored, you can add any kind of Storage, Switches or Vms devices and is compatible with the latest version of firmware. Also, you can monitor VMs from Power devices by installing an agent in the server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Spectrum Control?

The software is really good, but in the web GUI sometimes is terrible, it takes a lot of time to load some graphs or information from the storage devices. Also, if there is an error with the account used to monitor the storage device, you have to delete the device and add it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Spectrum Control solving and how is that benefiting you?

Monitoring all the storage devices on the infrastructure, it’s an easy way to manage the hardware and performance alerts. With the software you can monitor the performance even at vdisks level, so you can see if a vm or datastore is having a performance issue during a certain period of time.
