Release cycles are extremely slow. Critical TM1 database bugs occur seemingly every release even within our LTS version of 11. For example, just this past couple months a bug has been plaguing our metadata where transaction log entries will be read in to old principal names of elements, completely breaking our database - this has since been fixed. But now we have an issue where one of our databases has a memory leak, will grow from a starting size of 1 gb to hundreds of gbs, then crash. Basically the seemingly endless whack-a-mole of bug fixing then new bugs are found in a fix pack are endless even though version 11 has been on long term support for years now.
