"Fast Setup, Simple Interface, and so much potential"

What do you like best about IBM Bob?

The Bob interface makes it very easy to work through the solution. During our proof of concept, we integrated our installation with our test environments in minutes, and we were able to jump straight into simple tests to see how it worked.<br><br>We had multiple machines with known issues, and Bob was able to quickly evaluate them and suggest remedies that could potentially resolve those problems. After asking for our permission, we let Bob do its thing, and it provided an in-depth analysis of the current situation, along with a clear review of what it was about to do to address the issues.<br><br>Overall, I’m quite impressed by how simple the process was and how quickly it was able to help us out. What do you dislike about IBM Bob?

At this point, it is very similar to other products in the way it does its work and I am unable to say that we disliked anything about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Bob solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’re definitely not using BOB to its full potential yet, but for what we have been using it for, it has been great. Lately, we’ve been relying on it to educate ourselves on different aspects of OS updates for our systems, patching, and related items. It has helped us a lot with creating proper playbooks and scripts, and it has also been a big help on the documentation side, since everything we’re doing is being captured and populated into clear, follow-through documentation.
