HYCU is straightforward to use and provides reliable backups for our VMware VMs. It automatically detects additional VMs in the connected vCenter, while still allowing us to stay in control of our backup policies. The dashboard presents clear metrics that show backup progress and the overall reliability of our system protection, which makes it easy to monitor what’s happening at a glance. It also supports storage copies to multiple locations for offsite backups, and the automation of backup integrity testing, which is very useful to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Broadcom’s recent price changes, like many others we’re now looking at VMware alternatives. In that context, I’d really like to see HYCU support a wider range of hypervisors. Aside from that, it’s a good system overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
