What do you like best about Hunter?

I love how easy it is to use the Chrome extension and find emails for a particular domain that are unavailable on the website. This is helpful for anyone working in a field requiring email outreach. One click and voila! You get a bunch of emails along with the department they are in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hunter?

As good as it is, you won't be able to get emails from every site - so yea, it can fail sometimes. But that is to be expected; no tool can offer a 100% success rate. The other thing I am not very fond of is that they have significantly reduced the number of free credits to use over the past couple of years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hunter solving and how is that benefiting you?

As an SEO executive, one of my primary jobs is to check various domains for link-building opportunities and reach out to them. Most of the sites have learned to keep personal emails off the browser's reach to avoid spam, but this creates a problem for people who are genuinely trying to reach out but cannot find a contact point. Hunter comes to the rescue here! We regularly use its extension to find emails of contact persons. It also shows which department a particular email is associated with, so it can help you decide the right person to contact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
