**What do you like best about Hunter?**

I love the exceptional email accuracy of Hunter, which is extremely reliable and saves my team countless hours of follow-up work. The built-in verification function ensures most contacts are active and usable, which I find far more trustworthy than other tools I've tried. I appreciate its intuitive and concise interface that brings a smooth operating experience, allowing my team to quickly get started without complicated training, improving our work efficiency. The rich supplementary corporate profile data is a huge benefit, helping us understand target enterprises and align our marketing outreach with local market demands. I’m particularly impressed by the seamless bulk search functionality that fits perfectly with our large-scale campaign planning, speeding up our lead list building. Additionally, the real-time data update mechanism keeps contact information fresh and timely, preventing us from running into obsolete details. Hunter's stable performance, reliable data output, and practical functional design make it the most preferred lead generation tool for our marketing team, consistently supporting our brand promotion and business expansion.

**What do you dislike about Hunter?**

To begin with, the current advanced audience filtering system is far from detailed enough to support our precise market segmentation work. When we screen potential clients according to specific enterprise scale, local German regional distribution, core business categories, company establishment years and decision-maker job levels, the existing filter tags are too generalized. We cannot quickly filter out high-intent and highly matching target leads in batches, which forces our team to spend extra time manually sorting and eliminating invalid contacts afterward, greatly slowing down the overall lead screening progress. Secondly, the bulk data export function lacks sufficient flexibility and personalized settings. While it supports basic list exporting, it offers very few customizable data fields and lacks diversified formatted output modes. Every time we finish collecting large volumes of verified contact resources for team-shared marketing campaigns, we have to spend extra time adjusting data layouts, deleting redundant information and unifying file formats, which adds unnecessary repetitive workload and lowers our overall workflow efficiency.

Hunter solves our lead generation inefficiencies, cuts down manual workloads with accurate email lookups, and lowers bounce rates. Its insights allow us to refine strategies and engage more effectively, streamlining our outreach process and supporting business growth.

**What do you like best about Hunter?**

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Hunter.io was extremely disappointing.

I purchased the platform specifically to save time sourcing professional email contacts. Instead, I spent hours manually correcting spreadsheets, cleaning names, fixing domains, rerunning lists, and going back and forth with multiple customer support representatives just to get usable results. In the end, only about 7% of the results were actually usable.

Support themselves acknowledged multiple issues with how the uploaded data was being interpreted, including mismatched company domains, improperly processed names, and rows that were “never going to return anything.” At that point, the software became more manual work than simply doing the research myself.

What made the experience worse was the refusal to issue a refund despite the poor outcome and extensive documented support interactions. Instead of resolving it fairly, I was offered account credits and a subscription extension for a service I no longer trust or intend to use.

I tried repeatedly to handle this professionally and avoid escalation, but ultimately had to file a chargeback through my bank because I genuinely do not believe the service delivered the functionality or value that was advertised.

Very disappointing experience overall. If a product materially fails to perform as expected, refunding the customer should not be this difficult.

The Domain search tool is absolutely amazing, especially in the way it detects users and highlights the decision-makers. For a pentester, this is a real game changer for acquiring OSINT.

**What do you dislike about Hunter?**

No dislikes at this point. I just need to spend a little more time with it to figure out what more I could use it for, but the email and domain search is pretty awesome.

**What problems is Hunter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For pentesting, it saves me time by reducing the need to hunt down information about a company’s employees. Instead of combing through social media and websites to identify targets for attack planning, I can get what I need much faster.

What I like best about Hunter is how simple and efficient it makes finding and verifying professional email addresses. One downside is that the credit system can feel limiting, especially when working on larger prospecting campaigns. It’s easy to go through credits quickly, and the pricing can become expensive as usage scales. Additionally, while the data is generally accurate, there are occasional outdated or incorrect email addresses that still require manual verification. More advanced filtering and enrichment options would also make the platform even stronger for deeper prospect research.

**What do you like best about Hunter?**

It’s easy to use, especially with the Chrome extension. I can find emails and LinkedIn profiles quickly, often in just a second. I’ve been using it for 10 years already, and it’s still awesome. The free version is great as well. The email finder and verifier both work really well for me, and I use it regularly for sales and cold emails.

sometimes emails data is old and your mails are bounced back

we need to find contacts of certain people  from certain niche. only targeted marekting works for our business and hunter.io helps us to find these leads and email them or message to linkedin

I really like Hunter's scraping feature, which helps in collecting emails from specific domains and targeting decision makers. It's great because it fetches all related emails efficiently, allowing me to focus on individuals who are essential to reach out to rather than non-decision makers. This makes my work much more targeted and effective. The initial setup was also very easy.

I would really like to improve their pricing models, just to be used on usage. Maybe try to offer some affordable pricing models.

I use Hunter to scrape emails from specific domains and find decision makers. It helps me target specific individuals and provides clarity on personal emails for decision makers in private and venture capital companies, which I can't find elsewhere.

**What do you like best about Hunter?**

I like that Hunter is very easy to use and it doesn't overwhelm with too many features. The sequences, finder, and verifier features are really great. The finder and verifier are particularly useful for finding decision makers at different organisations. The sequences offer a simpler version of templated email sequences compared to other software. The setup process was really easy and required very little, just connect and go with minimal settings.

It does have some limitation in terms of the amount of control you have in certain features and setups, especially for the emails. Control over email signatures and more advanced steps of sequences and sequence criteria could be improved.

What I appreciate most about Hunter is its straightforwardness and dependability. The tool delivers exactly what it promises, without introducing any unnecessary complications. Whenever I need to quickly locate or verify a professional email address, Hunter is typically accurate and saves me a significant amount of time.

The email verification and domain search features are especially valuable. Having the ability to confirm whether an email address is valid before reaching out helps lower bounce rates and makes outreach efforts more effective. Additionally, the domain search provides insight into how a company formats its email addresses, which is quite helpful.

I use Hunter for quickly finding contact details for target accounts within sales. Most of the data is correct and it links their LinkedIn profile, which reduces a lot of time in the outreach research. I appreciate the quality of data and the time-saving aspect, as email addresses are about 90% of the time correct, and I can verify them for just 0.5 credit. The initial setup of Hunter was super easy, and it integrates well with Hubspot.

It would be even better as a tool if phone numbers were provided.
