## Humanity Schedule by TCP Reviews
  ### 1. Easy Scheduling and Communication, but PTO Management Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maggie S. | Sr. Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

What I like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP is how easy it is to create, update, and communicate employee schedules in one place. Managers can quickly see staffing coverage, employees can view their schedules and submit time-off requests, and schedule changes are communicated without relying on separate emails or paper schedules.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

What I dislike most is the limited functionality for PTO and time-off management. The system does not provide enough flexibility to create more complex PTO policies, including tiered accrual structures based on length of service or employee classification. This makes it difficult to accurately administer our company’s policies within Humanity and requires additional manual tracking outside the system.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Humanity Schedule by TCP helps us centralize employee scheduling, communicate schedule changes, and manage time-off requests in one place. It reduces reliance on paper schedules, emails, and separate messages, while giving managers a clearer view of staffing coverage and employee availability. Employees can access their schedules directly, which improves communication and helps reduce scheduling errors and missed shifts.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for your review! We're glad Humanity Schedule is helping you simplify scheduling and improve communication across your team. We also appreciate your feedback on PTO management and will share it with our product team.

  ### 2. Intuitive Scheduling with Seamless Mobile Access

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy L. | Practice Manager, Veterinary, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

I like that Humanity Schedule by TCP is pretty intuitive. It's easy to add extra positions and set permissions at any time. I also like that it has a mobile app, which is impactful for our hourly employees to pick up shifts, see their schedules, and look at the day at a glance. The initial setup was pretty easy, and we didn't have any issues.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

I would like to be able to identify open shifts with a color, some sort of defining feature that would help us from a visual perspective to determine what shifts are open when we're looking at the schedule.

**Recommendations to others considering Humanity Schedule by TCP:**

more visually appealing views and additional printing options, better app for administrators

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Humanity Schedule by TCP is intuitive, allowing us to add positions and set permissions easily. The mobile app is handy for hourly employees to manage shifts and view schedules, helping managers make changes without affecting others.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Nice to hear the mobile app has been such a hit with your hourly employees for picking up shifts and staying on top of their schedules. We'll pass along your ideas on color-coding open shifts and admin app improvements to the product team! Thanks!

  ### 3. Easy Scheduling with Handy Repeat Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Merina B. | Director of Programming, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

It's pretty easy to use and has some tools on it that make it faster when I do schedules each week--like being able to repeat schedules, or just repeat schedules for one person.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

It might be my computer but it sometimes feels like it takes a couple of seconds to change out what I've put in there if I'm typing really fast. I also don't like the way the shift hours don't come up easily for overnight employees. My team is all on overnights. So I'll put in an odd schedule like 12a-8a and I sometimes have to manually take a different shift and then change it to am.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have different team members in different locations so it's nice to be able to see them all at once even though they are saved in different locations in Humanity, and make sure I have all the shifts covered properly.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the great review! Happy to hear how well it is working for you. Please reach out to our customer support team to see if they can assist you in the overnight scheduling. Thank you for sharing!

  ### 4. TCP Scheduling Gave Me My Life Back

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patricia J. | Security Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

TCP has given me back my life. Before I started using TCP, I was doing scheduling manually on a paper table. With so many changes, I was constantly making copies and going through an unbelievable amount of paper. After discovering TCP through another department, it felt like a breath of fresh air. Now I can go to bed before midnight, and I can wake up in the morning without having to rush into work just to make manual changes.

With TCP scheduling, I’ve been able to build the schedule a month at a time, or even two months at a time. It’s made it easy for me to make changes from my phone or computer in real time, and staff receive updates within seconds. It also helps that it’s not just me—other managers in the department can see the changes too, and they can make adjustments, additions, or deletions as needed.

It took staff about a month to get into a rhythm with it, but they love it now because it’s self-serving. They don’t have to call me; they can go in, release a shift, pick up a shift, and schedule based on their availability.
Finally, TCP has saved my employment because I don't think I would still be there the stress was real. The best thing is the autofill. It takes the lame off you for having favorites and not scheduling someone. Thanks, TCP for letting me have a normal life again!!!

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

The cost is the biggest downside of TCP. in managing the templates, I wish they could put them in order of those that are a like or alphabetical order or time slots. So, they are easy to navigate to see if it is in there or you need to add or subtract because of a duplicate. It could be user error but if you could figure that out it would be one less stressor.

Wish that it could catch and notify in real time a duplicate entry in scheduling. sometimes you click to enter a certain time template and then may put the same one in again by accident which can cause problem in scheduling two different people for the same shift.

Because wish when you are sharing TCP with another department that it could give messages only to that department when you chose your location that it would be for your department only so like when sending a message both departments would not see what you are writing to your department. After a a certain time it would recognize that security is your department, and it would nt open up any other department but yours.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned at the beginning, this helps me avoid doing all of the scheduling by hand on paper. It also means I don’t have to be involved in every single decision for each of my 50+ staff members. Instead, it makes the process more self-sufficient for everyone, so each person can take ownership of their own scheduling availability. Now, the staff is able to put in their availability and are able to schedule as far out as they want.
It also enables them to release a shift pick up a shift so that I the administrator does not have to be involved with those aspect as I did when I was doing it on paper. I use TCP for delivering messages to staff as well as scheduling all staff at same time for a shared post which is a time saver.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! Happy to hear how helpful Humanity Schedule has been for you. Please reach out to our customer support so they can go through some of those concerns you have.

  ### 5. Easy-to-View Scheduling That Keeps the Whole Team Connected

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzette K. | Hospital Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

From a user perspective, the schedule is easy to view and navigate. I also like that all staff members have access to phone numbers, so they can contact fellow team members if they need a shift covered.

From the Scheduler side, schedules are straightforward to enter and can be repeated without much effort. There are also multiple options for displaying open shifts and deciding how those shifts get filled.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

It can feel a little clunky for team members who don’t have set schedules. Overall, the product is good and performs well. However, I’ve really struggled with support—when something goes wrong, it’s difficult to reach the right person who can actually correct it although I have seen some improvement in this.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a very easy-to-use platform for our team to see when they’re scheduled. It’s also simple for me to post open shifts and for them to pick them up, which often helps fill gaps in coverage. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this software.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the feedback! Glad the scheduling is keeping your team covered. We're sorry to hear about the support experience and appreciate you flagging it — we'll do better.

  ### 6. Humanity Schedule Makes Creating and Adjusting Shifts Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia S. | Training Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

I like that Humanity Schedule is easy to use. We can create any schedule we want: 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours. Adjusting schedules is simple as well.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

The least helpful part is when AI tries to adopt a schedule change by changing the times I am adjusting. Like if I am simply changing a shift by shortening it, and AI seems to think I want the other end time changed to match the initial 8 hour shift. That is a performance issue when some employees don't notice that bug and the schedule ends up completely incorrect.

I also dislike not being able to shorten repeating shifts. The only thing we can do is extend them. It would be beneficial to allow for shortening.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Humanity is solving our scheduling issue. It saves us time by utilizing the shift planning instead of having to make a spreadsheet to constantly correct.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for sharing your experiences with Humanity Schedule! We will pass on your AI concerns with our product team. Appreciate your review!

  ### 7. Our Scheduling Backbone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorraine P. | Campus Services Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

Clear schedule access for everyone, they have the ability to trade shifts amongst themselves, plus it's helpful to have the mobile app as most of our team is the younger generation

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

The platform needs a better library of updated video tutorials to simplify the onboarding process. Currently, I have to handle all the instruction myself, but I would much rather send new hires an official training link. Both the website and app would be far more helpful if they provided these clear, self-service video walkthroughs.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Humanity serves as a reliable filter for scheduling noise, allowing my team to handle their own swaps while I prioritize high-level coordination. Automating the shift trades saves me several hours of manual work every week. It has been a foundational tool for maintaining an error-free schedule and keeping our team's communication streamlined and professional - and saves me from being the middle man.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thanks for the great feedback! Happy to hear it’s making a difference for your team. Love the idea of the self-service video walkthroughs. Will definitely pass that on to our product team.

  ### 8. Facilitates Staff Scheduling with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa B. | Administrative Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

I like that with Humanity Schedule by TCP, staff can see their schedule even when they are not in the office and can trade shifts with other employees. The staff loves the app. I find the different ways to view the schedule to be tremendously helpful, whether looking at one employee, a specific location, or a type of employee.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

We would love a way to mirror our current process of the staff bidding for a shift, which will not work currently. Then we have to take what is created in the shift bid and import that into ShiftPlanning, which is not always an easy process.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Humanity Schedule by TCP to let staff see their schedules outside the office and trade shifts. It offers various ways to view schedules, making it easy to focus on specific employees or locations.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We love that your staff loves the app and that the flexible schedule views are making your life easier! We hear you on the shift bidding workflow — that's helpful product feedback and we'll make sure it gets to the right team. Reach out anytime!

  ### 9. A Convenient Tool for Managing Work Schedules

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MADOB S. | Summer conference assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

What I like best is how easy it is to view my work schedule in one place. I can quickly check upcoming shifts, receive schedule updates, and request time off or shift changes. This makes it easier to plan my personal commitments and reduces confusion about when I am expected to work.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

The mobile interface can sometimes feel slow and less intuitive, especially when checking schedule changes or submitting requests. Notifications could also be clearer and more consistent so employees do not miss important updates.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Humanity Schedule by TCP solves problems related to shift scheduling, communication, and availability management. It gives me one place to view my shifts, receive schedule updates, request time off, and communicate my availability. This reduces scheduling confusion, helps prevent missed shifts, and makes it easier to balance work with my personal and academic commitments.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the review! We appreciate your feedback and will pass that on to our product team.

  ### 10. Humanity continues to impress!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

Humanity remains the best tool for managing employee schedules. The Humanity TCP app for iOS makes it easy to manage your team wherever I am. Recent app updates have improved how I access my schedule on the go. The Humanity support team is always there to help out and are committed to assisting and resolving any ongoing concerns. They have always been a great help, going above and beyond, and setting a standard.

**What do you dislike about Humanity Schedule by TCP?**

One suggestion on how Humanity Schedule by TCP could improve would be updating the UI for iPadOS. Currently, the view is somewhat limited and does not show the team view as detailed as it does when accessing via web browser. It may be beneficial to improve the UI to take advantage of the larger screen size on iPad compared to mobile phones. This would allow for more efficient schedule management and provide a better overview of the weekly schedule. The UI should preferably share a similar interface as the web browser to help facilitate usability, encourage app adoption, and increase use.

**What problems is Humanity Schedule by TCP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us fill those gaps in coverage to ensure all our providers have the proper support sdirong their shift. Less open hours helps us maintain a good relationship with our clients.

**Official Response from Nancy Newton:**

> Thank you for the wonderful review! I'll be sure to share the UI suggestions with our product team.
