What do you like best about HSI?

HSI offers one source of truth for our workplace safety training, resources and safety management. It allows teams to customize forms, safety checklists and business jargon easily. We don’t need heavy IT/developer support. A great ROI solution for mid-market to enterprise scale businesses. However, it can be quite an investment for small businesses with the initial subscription cost and costs per user. HSI offers a good ROI by reducing the risk of workplace safety incidents, reducing costly regulatory fines, reducing admin and reducing TRIR. It has a simple clean interface. Employees can easily locate and complete their training with minimal support. Administrators can also easily view employee progress and reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HSI?

Because HSI covers a wide range of areas including chemical databases, incident reporting and training, some niche tools may feel a little generic compared to single-purpose tools. With a large variety of products, it can be time-consuming to source the correct training courses and optimally set up the tool. A few of the online courses appear quite wordy and can be a bit more interactive. Some of the reporting and training options can be more flexible for companies with very specific requirements. HSI combines EHS and Learning Management System (LMS). By having a single system to report on incidents at work, monitor compliance with hazardous materials and automatically allocate training, it reduces admin and provides a centralized source of truth. HSI also allows for full automation of your compliance & certification process. With automated reminders, soft/hard stop dates for uncertified staff and instant reporting to enable full compliance and reduce the risk of fines. Mobile and web-based reporting forms mean staff can report incidents in real time.
