I appreciate HRMatrix for its ability to streamline our core HR workflows by taking over from our messy spreadsheets and scattered email folders, centralizing applicant submissions and organizing my previously chaotic hiring process. The platform's automation of routine onboarding tasks significantly cuts down on administrative overhead, which is crucial during our busy hiring seasons. What stands out most for me is its flexible onboarding checklist builder. I highly value being able to customize task sequences for different consultant roles, which drastically reduces my repetitive setup work when onboarding multiple new hires at once. I also appreciate the role-specific onboarding flows provided by the pre-built templates, which eliminate repetitive copy-paste tasks by automatically assigning policy reviews, document signing, and IT equipment requests to new hires. HRMatrix presents a few challenges for our team. It doesn't connect natively to our payroll vendor, leading to extra time spent manually exporting new-hire data during busy hiring windows. Reporting features are weak, requiring multiple manual filter adjustments and there's no option to save frequently-used report presets, which wastes time rebuilding them quarterly. Additionally, the mobile interface is clunky, and our remote consultants struggle to finish tasks on their phones without glitches. The initial setup was also time-consuming without a guided import wizard, leading to manual cleaning of CSV files to avoid data errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
