What do you like best about Hostaway?

Hostaway works as a genuine one-stop platform for my short-stay apartments, so operations, guest messaging and financials all sit in one place instead of being spread across several tools. The channel manager keeps my OTA calendars in sync without me having to check them, and the automated messaging, AI configuration and filters handle most guest communication before I even see it. I also get a lot of value from how far the automations can be filtered and tailored to the way my properties actually run, and the open API means I can pull my own reporting and connect Hostaway to other tools I use. What do you dislike about Hostaway?

Honestly, there is very little I would change for the way I use it. If I had to name something, there is a lot of depth in the settings and automations, so it takes a little time at the start to work out where everything lives and how to configure it exactly the way you want. Once that initial setup is done it runs quietly in the background and I have not run into anything that has caused me a real problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hostaway solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Hostaway I was running a small portfolio of short-stay apartments across several disconnected tools and checking each booking channel separately, which meant constant manual work and a real risk of double bookings. Hostaway centralises all of it: calendars and rates stay in sync across the OTAs, guest messaging is automated end to end, and the operational and financial side sits in the same place rather than in spreadsheets. The practical benefit is time. Routine guest communication and day to day admin largely look after themselves, I get broader exposure across channels without extra effort, and I can spend the time I get back on the parts of the business that actually grow revenue.
